OWLSONG WAS DREAMING ONCE AGAIN. He had been dreaming the same dream over and over for a while now. Always the same night terror.
The tomcat was walking through the mist, close to the ShadowClan border. He trotted along, still an apprentice full of too much energy.
Next to him was his mate, Rabbitpaw. Oh, she was so lovely, and Owlpaw had never felt so attached to her.
The moon glowed above them while fireflies danced around their heads. Owlpaw loves the night time, it was so peaceful.
His giant copper eyes would occasianly meet the wonderful blue orbs of Rabbitpaw's and he would let out a little trill.
And that's when he would smell the scent of sparrow and he would feel his stomach weaken. Quietly, he would tell Rabbitpaw that he was going to be back in a tick.
Owlpaw always made quick word of the small bird. It was an easy catch, nothing to feel proud of. And as he moved back to Rabbitpaw he began to smell the scent of loner.
Another moment passed by and then Rabbitpaw, much older and prettier was sitting in front of him, with a handsome loner.
Oh, and when she opened her jaws to speak Owlpaw felt as if he was being beaten by a bully apprentice. 'Owlsong, I never loved you. Bye.'
Owlsong sat bolt upright, breathing hard and fast. He hated that dream, that memory. And he always felt sore in his stomach after he dreamt it, as if indeed he had been kicked right in the belly.
Sunlight made him shy away from the entrance to the den and he sighed. There was no way he was going to let Rabbitear haunt him again.
He slipped out of the den, nodding to two passing warriors. It was unusual for him to be up so early, but he decided he would make the best of it.
Owlsong usually slipped out of camp, never sure where to go. He would always trust his paws, and this time his paws led him to the gorge.
'Good, might as well hunt and make sure those fish faces are staying where they belong.' After these thoughts he stiffened his tail so it wouldn't warn any prey in the area that he was here.
Owlsong and walked in a big circle, catching prey here and there. And he felt proud of his catching. By the time the moon was high in the sky he had caught two rabbits and a mouse.
It was very rare that poor Owlsong would hunt sparrows now. They would always bring his horrific night terrors back into his mind.
He heaved a great sigh and stared through the mist. The cat loved the roaring of the falls, it always made him feel peaceful.
But he never could forget Rabbitear, and why she had suddenly decided to leave him like that. He always felt angry after thinking about her, so he turned his direction to the border.
His smoky fur prickled with tension. Were those two eyes staring at him from the other side? He shook his head and plopped down on the grass. Tonight was going to be peaceful.

Crystalpaw watched him stutter though she didn’t make fun of it but only admired the small cute mistakes of her best friend. Truth was she wouldn’t change the smart-mouthed-mouse-brained Swiftpaw for anyone in the world…and even though everyone thought Crystalpaw was going to be another serious cold pretty she-cat who would never be touched? Sshe had just a little bit more to her than anyone else expected. Love. When he tapped his paw on the bridge again she snorted lightly under her breath. Well if your leader im deputy! And I can have a say on whatever you do! Ha! she taunted, getting all up in his face. Her actions dropped down back to a crouch as his bodice did listening carefully.
Her cold minty eyes were still with excitement as she looked at his gave listening to him initially. This was EXCATLY why Crystalpaw would change him for a single thing in the world! As he stalked past her she was quick to fallow him almost as if the swish of his tail calling her over was actually a remote to her actions.
Ears pricked when he asked her if she was scared. Oh wasn’t he tired of this little game. Almost half tempted to swipe out at his hind crouched legs to make him topple over, she sighed to herself and only rasped her pink tongue over her muzzle. Crystalpaw rolled her eyes and stopped in her tracks when she was called Crystalkit oh…how he really wanted to play THAT game didn’t he?! Narrowing her eyes she was rather swift on her paws as with a single sleek pounce she attempted to land squarely on his shoulders in a stance they called ‘pin’.
If she got lucky his reaction might have been a roll over to expose his tender underbelly…though of corset she wouldn’t hurt him. Silverstream had taught her a few battle moves…Crystalpaw being one of the strongest probably along the lines to match Swiftpaw. I don’t think I should remind you who beat you up in the nursery Swift’kit’ she hissed into his tower before carefully slipping away from him another one of her famous giggles being heard through the reeds, as she walked through them disspearing from view.
Small paws finally made it to the smooth rock of the gorge and her pretty dappled bodice couched as she watched a rather…well….rounded cat sit on the other side. He didn’t seem to be doing any harm…but he was small as it was probably guessing that he was around hers and Swiftpaws age…like a lot of times in her life, the apprentice was wrong. Although this is why we have them, no? Lowering her perfectly carved head, eye contact was made across borders causing a ripple of aggression at the tension that was produced on the passing wind. Though no sound came from the now stone-tainted she-cat as her solitary, icy gaze penetrated vividly back into Owlsongs own eyes. Oh what could this be? A friendly encounter? …Hilarious.
[occ; hey owlsong! this is a connection from another post that me & swift had going and it kinda led to this! haha hope you dontmind (: BTW Crystalpaws warrior name is gonna be Crystaltear THATS CRAZY! lol]

Swiftpaw knew he had lit a spark in Crystalpaw when he called her kit. He was edging her on, something he usually did on a daily basis, though just not as forward or taunting. It took him a moment to realize that Crystalpaw had paused to leap, but not more than a few seconds later, the she-cat had jumped atop his back, her paws placing firmly on his shoulders. All instinct told him to lay flat and fall as gently as he could with her light weight and at all costs, protect his stomach. Though with the surprise pin, he took the risk of whirling around on his back to kick up with his back legs. But before he could get into the actual fighting training mode, she whispered to him again.
He flinched visibly at those words, whiskers twitching as if pouting. "It was only because you cheated, Crystalpaw!" Swiftpaw felt it wasn't exactly fair when they knew each others style of fighting. Though when it came to an actual battle, knowing each others moves and risks would be helpful when trying to assist the other. Something Swiftpaw would do in a heartbeat to help out his companion. As he rose back to his paws, shaking loose leaves and dirt from his pelt, green eyes watched her tail disappear in the reeds. If he hadn't caught glimpse of that, all he ready had to do was follow was follow that giggle. "If anyone was stalking us, you'd give us away with your laughing!" he called out to her, darting off into the brush to catch up.
As they reached the gorge, Swiftpaw unsheathed his claws to dig at the rock before retracting them. Windclan scent flooded his nostrils. He knew it would be strong here at the border, though cat scent was mingled in with the air. The tom rounded up on the other apprentice's side, pressing his body close to the ground again. The thin leafy foliage around was good enough cover, though he was sure if the other looked hard enough, he'd be able to spot the two lurking on their side of the border.
"Windclan," Swiftpaw hissed quietly, kneading his paws at the rocky surface. The sound of the water falling from the falls gave the area a peaceful, serene tone though it was all but as the sneaky apprentices stared at the other side. Stepping a bit closer, careful not to make too much noise, he moved up as close as he could, eyes narrowing to slits. Glancing back at Crystalpaw, his tail lashed behind him before laying flat again. "Maybe we can get some information? 'Cuz I wanna know what's going on."
Not only were they overbearingly close to the gorge where they didn't belong, they had spotted a rival clan cat over the border and Swiftpaw wanted to ask him about his clan affairs. That was lovely.

Owlsong hadn't noticed the two apprentices until the breeze changed direction. He had seen the first one very faintly before, but now he could see the outline of another cat.
Every inch of his body froze, tense with the fact that now two RiverClan apprentices where staring at him from the other side. Owlsong slowed his breathing so it looked like he was a rock.
Once the RiverClan tomcat moved a few inches closer to the border and Owlsong could swear that he could see his mouth moving. But that could also be his mind playing tricks on him, it was just so hard to see through the mist.
The smoky WindClan warrior let out the faintest of growls and decided to walk slowly back wards. Hopefully, the cats wouldn't be able to see him any more since he was well hidden against the moor's mist.
As serious this situation might be, Owlsong kept letting out random trills of excitement. This was defiantly a challenge, and he love challenges. 'Is RiverClan so stupid that they don't even teach their apprentices to stay away from that death trap?'
Even the tiniest WindClan kit knew that the gorge was a death trap, and even the most seasoned warrior could die there. He flicked his tail impatiently, wondering if he should just walk away and report what he had seen to Stripestar, or if he should have a little fun.
'Eh..I've been through tough times lately, might as well have some fun!' Making this decision he trotted around to his previous spot, but still staying hidden. He was sitting in a bare tree, and perhaps the only tree on the moor. Owlsong would still be concealed here.
Lowering his voice and moving his vocal cords he let out his best owl hoot yet. There was no reason he did that, perhaps he was just practicing. Once he masked his voice with lower sounds, he called out very loudly, 'What are you doing on the gorge?'
He wasn't even sure if this would spook them. Maybe he would have to admit that this wasn't the best idea he ever had, but what else would he do? He was bored.

Crystalpaw gave a jolt when Swiftpaw silently reached her side, her head snapped to look at him with a rather relieved look that it was him. She stepped only a little closer until he stepped out of Riverclan territory and onto Windclans disgusting smelling territory. Pricking her ears with ease eyes tried to search again for the tom that she had spotted before…though he seemed to have vanished from sight. Crystalpaw picked up her head in alarm eyes searching the flat grassy areas. Are you mouse-brained?!
she hissed to Swiftpaw knocking him in the head with her right paw rather hard. You know what Silvercreek has said about the boarder! Get your furry tail over here! I can’t even see where that Windclan bile went! She whispered to Swiftpaw looking around again. When she heard the hoot she looked at the tree and looked once more directly at Owlsong…he was closer then before as every hair on her pelt pricked with uneasiness as he spoke out to them. A low hiss escaped her muzzle as she didn’t speak at all. She was pretty sure that would change in a couple of seconds with Swiftpaw around. Ok sure. These two Riverclan apprentices where dangerously close to Windclan territory…so close that it was almost on top of the line that divided the territory…but what about this warrior that knew better? Minty eyes narrowed, as Crystalpaw was the type of she-cat that didn’t really say much…though this situation seemed to give her a chill of uncertainness. There was no threat placed just yet…though she felt as if any moment hell was going to spread loose. It was already pretty bad at the battle against both Clans! But these two young felines didn’t understand that too well, yet. Pretty minty gaze blazed over at Owlsong…those eyes powerful and striking…though her stance was relaxed as she didn’t make her move toward him. Tail swished over the stone in a pacing manner, waiting to what was going to go down next. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Swfitpaw's eyes were locked onto the cat across the border and his body was tensed, ready to pounce or launch himself if the rival warrior decided to make a dash for them. The tom was completely unaware that his paw had just stopped before the border although the scent of Windclan nearly overwhelmed him with a second step. Pushing himself lower to the ground, rear half wriggling in the air just as he prepared to make a leap, Crystalpaw had knocked him upside the head. It was a bit of surprise and hissed in retaliation to the hit.
"Great kittens to Starclan, Crystalpaw! I know, I know but-" He broke off in his sentence, whipping his head in the direction that the other cat was just in when Crystalpaw mentioned he vanished from her sight. "Huh? It's over there..."
His eyes searched the open moorland and the small amount of foliage that surrounded the rocky gorge. The tom's mouth opened as he stretched his head over the border, trying to keep his paws from going over. Technically, he hadn't crossed the border if he didn't take a pawstep over, right? He scented the air and much to his dislike, he could tell the cat was still there, but he didn't know where. The calm, almost peaceful roaring of the falls was a greater distraction from any sounds that he may have been able to trace and pick up.
Though what he did hear was the owl call. Instantly, he looked up towards the sky, wholeheartedly confused when he didn't see the bird he expected. Just a thrush or two. "What in Swishstar's name...?" He rhetorically questioned himself. With a huff, tail waving behind him with irritation, he unsheathed his claws, feeling them scrape against the rocky ground.
Then, he heard the voice. His first instinct was to answer, "Don't you have better things to do then to be hiding at the gorge?" Swiftpaw yowled over in frustration, taking his first couple of steps over the border. He dipped his head to the side and sneezed before blinking and looking back up, the hairs on his back and neck rising. Swiftpaw hadn't meant to seem appear overly hostile, it was mainly in an attempt to make himself look bigger. "Before I could even ask you anything, you disappeared."
He shot a glance back at Crystalpaw. "Right?" He was hoping to get some type of moral support to his statement.
And besides, if they were attacked or approached by this cat, they could take him. Swiftpaw was sure of it. The fact he was taking this more of a game or just a everyday stroll on the territory seemed to make himgs worse. The tomcat never seemed to know what he was getting into until the trouble was made.

But that was when I ruled the world.
His tail swished rhythmically through the air, creating a steady beat, and he sang the beat in his head. 'One two three four, one two three four, one two three four.' It was a steady and quick beat, but it helped him relax and figure things out.
He grinned, clearly he had grabbed the tom's interest. The she-cat, he had no idea. But that was usually the way it was with Owlsong and she-cats. Males were easy to understand, but she-cats...they were so complicated.
Owlsong got lost in his thoughts once again of feminine ladies. But luckily he was able to pull himself out of those thoughts, because if he got too deep he wouldn't be able to focus. 'Don't you have better things to do then to be hiding at the gorge?' The voice of the RiverClan tom woke him up once again.
All right, so...you're a brave little fellow. Owlsong was beginning to admire the young tomcat. It took guts to address an unknown warrior like that. The she-cat remained silent while he continued, 'Before I could even ask you anything, you disappeared.'
Owlsong decided that the young bloke was right, and he had hidden. He decided to come out of sight again, just for effect. He ran swiftly and silently until he was standing right in front of the two.
A huge grin matched his giant eyes as he stood there. The roar of the falls echoed loudly everywhere, but Owlsong was able to tune it out. Hullo! He meowed loudly, innocently, and happily, Here I am, not hiding or anything, see? Owlsong waved his tail, just for effect.

THEN GET OVER HERE! she insisted under her breath as he excused himself…like he always did by the way. Swiftpaw got away with it sometimes with Crystalpaw…though she caught on his little tricks as she played some of her own on him which where to good to ever have him catch on. A small huff was made under her breath as Swiftpaw of coarse expressed himself. Who was she to blame him? Heck! He spoke for himself and partly for her! (take note of the ‘partly’ part). She found herself staring at the back of Swiftpaws head when he hissed with frustration at the tom on the other side. Well then…something she wasn’t expecting at all. When he turned to her for comfort she twitched her whiskers at him, which was a remote ‘shut up Swiftpaw!’ but didn’t speak.
Actions where quicker than her thoughts as her limbs shot up from under her closing the small gap between herself and Swiftpaw almost to his defense, when the tom popped in front of them. A slender unsheathed front limb full of claws was thrown toward the Windclan cat’s face as she kept herself next to Swiftpaw; close enough to have her light spotted fur just barely brush against his double tainted one. Her sleek dappled fur was pricked roughly as the young she-cats tail swished with agitation behind her as she now eyed the enemy casually as if nothing happened.
Crystalpaw was good at keeping her cool…truth was that this tom had scared the living guts out of her when he appeared just like that out of the blue. What the heck was his problem? Oh I think I liked you MUCH better when you where hiding… she hissed coldly in her mind as she examined his short rather…rounded body. Ears flickered down low behind her head almost flat at his little ‘tail wiggle’ as something about him just set Crystalpaw off. She crouched lightly, her slim pretty long-limbed bodice looking gathered then it usually should, though it wasn’t a problem. Tail twitched just a little farther away from her body then usually tapping Swiftpaws momentarily for comfort before swishing once back over to her side…oh she was not liking this at all anymore…

"Just calm down, Crystalpaw..." He whispered back to her, his calm voice completely different compared to how frantic her hisses were. His head was still turned slightly as he waited for her to respond or back him up - something. But just as he figured, the she-cat wouldn't say anything out loud. Sometimes, how quiet she was bothered him in situations like this. Then again, it made him feel special that she spoke to him more than anyone else. It was an ego boost, type of thing. Something Swiftpaw didn't mind. Seeing her whiskers twitch, the signal registered, but he didn't follow it.
Turning back around, Swiftpaw was surprised to find the other tom there, standing in front of him. The hairs on his neck rose again and he stared wide-eyed at the apparent friendliness of the other tom. Relaxing visibly, Swiftpaw's tail flickered before lowering and he pawed at the ground. One of his eyes narrowed questioningly and he turned his head sightly, "Say... you're not tryna trick us are yo- Crystalpaw!"
When the other apprentice leaped up from her spot behind him, almost defensively, he was alarmed as she shot her paw out towards the Windclan warrior. Light on his paws, he jumped to the side, adding some distance between the two. He was more than shocked at Crystalpaw's actions, though allowed his face to remain as calm as he could keep it. His eyes narrowed to slits once again as he shot an accusing glare at Crystalpaw. The warrior seemed less than hostile and she had to make an attempt to attack him.
He took a few careful steps back towards Crystalpaw and as her tail touched his, he returned the tapped hers back. "You lost your tail!" He whispered over to her, before looking back to the other tom.
"You've gotta excuse her!" He was hoping to make light of the situation. Hoping. "She gets bout as scared as a fox at a badger gathering sometimes!" Swiftpaw laughed at his own joke, mewing afterwards. With another light chuckle, he looked at Crystalpaw, hoping she wouldn't be offended by his words. "Ah, good joke, huh?"
Well, maybe the Windclan cat would keep his cool....

Vixenpaw as small as she was kept running, but almost gave up. She knew that she could not keep it up for much longer. Her breathing became more heavy gasps, as she bounded across the moors. She wondered to herself if she would ever find help or make it back to camp alive. She knew for a fact she was not supposed to be at the borders or even on Windclan territory. She was a daring cat, and she almost didn't care. It was only Windclan which almost tore apart her friends on the patrol.
Flashing back in her mind was her mentor saving the kit whom was trapped in the river. When she was younger she was the fastest apprentice around and she could keep herself alive, but also she knew that it was the best if she didn't dive in because she was too young, and she knew she would have drowned under the current. It was almost unbearable. She always beat herself up over it, and knew if she risked her life it would have been better. All she could remember is seeing her mentor being drug under the current and drowning.
There was a good side to it. She made friends with the incident because she mourned very often over it. She had many friends in the clan, but she only liked one. She always had crushed on the tom, but she never thought he had noticed or cared. They were only good friends from kithood. She almost wished she knew what he was doing now but, she couldn't stop running.
Her eyes widened as she smelled strange scents close to the camp. She wondered what was going on, and she slowed down only briskly walking now. Her scents picked up on the tom instantly and she quickly bounded off again towards it. It wasn't like him to be so close to the border, and it made her wonder more what was going on.
As she crept closer she heard his meow, "Just calm down, Crystalpaw..." And she saw him. Her eyes widened as she yowled, "Swiftpaw! Crystalpaw! What are you doing out here?!" She was out of breath, and lets face it, she needed a break. Her emerald eyes were only a soft green now. She felt faint, and could have collapsed at any minute, but she didn't and sat there, bewildered at the Windclan cat.

I left my head and my heart on the dance floor!
Owlsong was ready for a lot of things. But he wasn't ready for a slap in the face. Silly Owlsong, after all the she-cat's he flirted with he should have been prepared. 'Ohew...always the she-cats, always the she-cats.'
He sat there for a while, feeling the familiar throb in his face. The young warrior heard the tom whisper something to his companion. 'You've gotta excuse her,' he dragged his attention away from his face and listened as the apprentice tried to make the action of the she-cat right.
'She gets bout as scared as a fox at a badger gathering sometimes!' Owlsong closed his open jaws and watched the two interact. He was liking the tom more and more, but he was wary of the she-cat, and he had every right to be.
His tail flickered back and fourth, unsure what do to now. It would be kind a weird if a Clanmate found him chatting it up with rival apprentices. But he fell into the trap, the trap that all young cats laid out for him. Oh he wanted to raise kits...
Owlsong shook his head, not wanting to let his thoughts wonder. Hearing a voice louder than anything he had ever heard before call out to her mates made him whip around. It was another young she-cat. Another RiverClan she-cat.
'Great StarClan, lady! Why don't you just screech out and scare even more prey away?' Owlsong was loosing patience, and his gentlemen charms evaporated quickly. The last thing he need was a patrol coming here because they heard some cat wailing at the top of her lungs.

Crystalpaw listened to when Swiftpaw ‘excused’ her action through she only felt her muscles tense under her perfect tidy pelt. Maybe it was Swiftpaws way of actually breaking the heat of a battle that they could probably both loose at…though Crystalpaw was never really one to back down. Eyes looked at Swiftpaw when he posted a joke- or so what he said giving him a stare that said it all. ‘SHUT UP SWIFTPAW!’ though she blinked at him softly with comprehension before looking back at the tom as he spoke. I suppose you don’t have to excuse me then? came her gentle silent voice as she sat down curling her tail over her paws rather neatly. A light devilish smirk came up toward her muzzle, as the dappled she-cat seemed to have a mysterious side to her- always. The only one that knew this she-cat nose to tail was Swiftpaw! Even though he knows little about his born gift.
Head turned to look over her shoulder at the yowl that startled the tom, but Crystalpaw was oh so very used too…Vixenpaw. She heard her name being called though the young apprentice didn’t speak back but only stared. Oh…how I would love to question you about the same thing…though I know, its only for Swiftpaw. Crystalpaw teased in her mind as her ear twitched at Swiftpaw when he tapped his tail with hers once more.
She didn’t seem to notice it when she did it- but when he did it caught her just a bit off guard. ‘You lost your tail!’ She heard the whisper, a silent giggle given under her breath as she just stared blankly at Vixenpaw.
Truth was that Crystalpaw never had a real liking to Vixenpaw…and when Vixenpaw knew it all to very well. Even though they tried to be friends for Swiftpaw’s sake. He would have long nights in the apprentice den whispering in her ear on how: Crystalpaw! You TOTALLY need to try being friends with HER! Stop being so mouse-brained and thorn-pawed! BLA! Give her a break. Vixenpaw just wasn’t what Crystalpaw was used too! It was enough with Swiftpaw thank you very much. Eyes looked over the stripped orange feline, as she seemed to be breathing hard. Losing interest she knew Swiftpaw would explain…he always did. He was just good at that. Looking back at the tom, she lightly twitched the tip of her wrapped tail accusingly.

So far, this wasn't going as smoothly as he hoped it would go. But being the crafty apprentice he was, Swiftpaw always had a plan B - or at the startings of the back-up plan. His eyes never left Crystalpaw's once after he gave her the multiple silent warning to just shut up and sit down, though he only followed one of those orders. To sit down. Realizing that they hadn't scared off the Windclan tom yet, Swiftpaw averted his gaze back towards the other side of the border. Finally! He'd be able to do what he and Crystalpaw came here for.
"Sorry it's taken so long to get to this but I'm Swiftpaw and that's Crystalki- I mean, Crystalpaw." He teased again, being sure to tap her with his tail before continuing to talk. As done by habit, he tapped his paw against the ground, tail waving excitedly behind him. "We don't mean to cause no trouble but we're not allowed to stray too far down the border. We never were before, but Crystalpaw's mentor," He didn't want to give too much information that the deputy had been lurking and patrolling around the border. "suggested that we stay away from the gorge for reasons other than... the standa-"
The tom flinched a loud yowl and almost in pure frustration, his claws dug against the rocky surface of the gorge, the dirt atop the rock sliding between his toes. Green eyes flickered back to see the orange pelt of Vixenpaw and already, he felt the tension basically rising from Crystalpaw's pelt. A light purr rumbled in his throat in pure amusement before he heard the warrior call to her about scaring away the prey.
"Vixenpaw, shhhh!" He meowed to the out of breath she-cat, a curt smile tugging at his maw. Hopefully, she'd come over and greet them and the warrior with a warn welcome. Rising to his paws, he took the few steps over to the panting apprentice and nosing her side, attempted to nudge her over towards the border. "We were just talking is all, no need to cause a fuss. Just keep it a secret, yeah?"
Without waiting for an answer from her, Swiftpaw flicked his ear as if acknowledging something. "Ha, thanks dearie. Sit, sit, you seem tired." No matter what Vixenpaw replied with, Swiftpaw was keeping her to not telling anyone else in Riverclan about this miniature meeting at the border.
He looked upwards towards the sky in thought, trying to catch what he was last talking about it as if it would fall from the sky. "Oh, yeah. So do you maybe know some of what's going on?" The question was directed back to the Windclan cat. Swiftpaw leaned forward on his paws, excited for what kind of response he might get. He looked back at Crystalpaw, then to Vixenpaw, as if coaxing them on to seem more interested, it'd make him feel tons better. "But uh, I don't wanna be a thorn in your side so if you don't wanna give us the scoop, you don't have to."
The tom said that, but he was expecting something.

I live to let you shine, I live to make you free
Owlsong stood there, glaring at the she-cat that had just arrived. He wondered if he knew her well, if he would still be this annoyed with her.
'Vixenpaw, shhhh!!' The tom exclaimed as he moved to the she-cat, Vixenpaw. So that's your name. Hrm...wonder if you're actually a vixen.
The black and white apprentice walked Vixenpaw over back to the border. 'Oh, yeah. So do you maybe know some of what's going on?' Those words molded a confused expression on Owlsong's face. What was this apprentice talking about?
'But uh, I don't wanna be a thorn in your side so if you don't wanna give us the scoop, you don't have to...' Owlsong sat with his tail curled along his paws.
He sat there, feeling the breeze ruffling his fur suddenly changing to a colder, sharper wind. The first winds of leaf bare... Feeling distracted, he turn his head so he faced the direction of his camp.
The black tom was starting to feel lonely, surrounded by all these RiverClan apprentices. It'd be nice if a cute she-cat from his Clan would join him...
The wind died down and off somewhere in the distant thunder growled. When he was kit, he would always say that the sky was hungry and wanted some food. Oh to be a kit again, back when everything was so simple, the only thing that mattered was that the planet was spinning.
Suddenly he snapped back into focus and remembered that he had three apprentices that he was talking too. With a flick of his tail he replied, 'Well, I'm not sure as to what the hell you're talking about, but I would like to know your names,' he paused and then continued.
'I'll begin: Hullo, my name is Owlsong. I'm a warrior of WindClan.' He cleared his throat and glanced at the apprentices. He waited for them to announce their names, and possibly clarify what the tom was talking about.

Attention drifted from Swiftpaw & back to the Windclan tom. She seemed to ignore Vixenpaw since she was rather good at ignoring annoying objects. Even though it was out of her nature to be annoyed…there were some things that hit the spot. Usually she tolerated Vixenpaw not having a problem with her at all…but Crystalpaw was just starting to think that she was getting a bit cranky since she hadn’t had her share of fresh-kill yet. Still having to collect the rest of her catch before getting back to camp…she started to think about the plump mouse that laid covered close to camp. Ohhh tasty. Licking her muzzle, she lifted her paw to groom her face listening carefully to Swiftpaw. Once his words where registered ears twitched as it bothered her that he was so polite…though she was soon over it.
Paw returned back to the earth silently as she looked at Owlsong as he spoke. He really didn’t know what was going on? Narrowing her eyes she spoke before Vixenpaw or Swiftpaw could. ”I think that our names should be the least of your interests…although I do believe that you have a certain idea what he’s talking about.” Came her silent intelligent tone as cool gaze looked at this…Owlsong. Something is going on between your clan and ours, it doesn’t seem friendly. Honestly, not having a clue why you’re so open with yourself in this all, Crystalpaw spoke again..well then. The silent she-cat did have a voice after all. Picking herself up on her paws she circled the rounded tom from a distance poking his side with her paw before, flickering away swiftly to Vixenpaws orange pelted side. She giggled and twitched her tail playfully at Swiftpaw. ”This is getting to weird! Plus I’m sooo hungry im about ready to eat a badger if it comes to it!
” She whispered in his ear tossing a glance at the tom. [occ; sorry vixen but i REALLY wanna rp ^.^ this is getting fun!] [/blockquote][/blockquote]
