I'm so far gone now, I've been running on empty. I'm so far gone now, do you wanna take me on?. Coldfire had a feeling that today would be different. Not like the normal days of patrols, hunting, and clan meetings. He was bored and wanted something more. Something other than the usual. Trying to clear these thoughts, he decided to take a walk. He might even pick up some fresh-kill on the way. At least that way, he felt like he was being useful. Coldfire had gone days without really socializing with anyone. He of course had snippets of conversation with other cats; commenting on the fresh-kill pile, agreeing to go on patrol, those sort of things. But he never felt the need to engage in conversations with his clan-mates.
Coldfire headed out of camp, the sun first starting to sink below the tree line. The damp undergrowth sank into his paws, water seeping between his claws. Mud soon soaked up to his knees, and the weeds hit into his chest. Ignoring this, as he was quite used to it by now, since this was the common temperament of ShadowClan territory, he trudged on. The marsh was quiet, scents of prey were stale. Of course. He took no notice of the frog that leapt literally, right in front of him. "Slimy disgusting creatures." he murmured. He could never figure out why some cats liked frogs. They seemed to still jump even when they were in the bottom of your stomach. The warm night air was circling around his body, creating a nice setting for his walk. As the temperature of the day cooled, Coldfire's paws set into a smooth rhythm.
Suddenly a noise to his right alerted him. It was quiet, and wouldn't have been heard to a creature with lesser hearing. He could hear the animal, repeatedly hitting into a ground...A bird. Coldfire pushed his shoulders back, and crouched down low to the ground. A little adrenaline was good to start the night out right.

--------------------------------------- My heart booms at the speed of light Think things have gotten too attached I need an escape --------------------------------------- Lefty walked alone, again in the marshy area of ShadowClan. Being in ShadowClan's territory was always dangerous, but necessary, you couldn't find much prey any where else. Well if she did venture into other Clan's territory with the scent of ShadowClan all over her, it wouldn't be good, she'd be attacked without a doubt. The muddy waters sloshed up over her paws. It had been a while since she had last eaten and frogs, although abundant, were not her favourite meal. She'd have to look for something more appetizing, like a bird or... whatever else she could find.
As she trudged on, she could smell fresh scents of ShadowClan patrols and hunters. Lefty must have been getting closer to the camp, but not very close. It was only a patrol. For a cat that hates the Clans she sure knew a lot about them. Maybe it was due to living so close to them or maybe it was just that she always bumped into them on a daily basis. Either way she hated they way things worked within a Clan. The thought of it sickened her, being a clan cat. It made her shiver.
She felt something hit the ground repeatedly. A bird it must be, finally some real food, She couldn't wait to gobble it all up. To have that hunger subside. She could smell it even if the heat made her head spin. Lefty could catch it. She'd just have to get down and get read to eat. She slowly lowered into hunting stance and she made her way towards to bird.

Do... Do you... Do you know...
He had the angles right, and the calculations measured. By doing a little math in his head, Coldfire could figure out just where the bird was going to be. 35 degrees, northeast. Perfect. Coldfire was always good at hunting; it was the one thing he knew he did right. Coldfire's thoughts wandered off again. He didn't ever hang out with any of the other cats. It was as if he was a robot, a piece of the clan that nodded to his superiors and did what he was told. Whatever needed to be done, he did it. He liked being a part of the clan; but sometimes he wished he was more included. It was his own fault, he didn't try hard enough to get along with others. He lacked social skills, and he didn't care enough to make friends. He wasn't mr. popular, that was for sure. Why do I let things like this bother me? Coldfire shook his head and concentrated on the task at hand. He was an edgy, non-talkative cat and he was used to being like that. Arching his back, Coldfire lowered his long-haired belly to the marshy ground. Placing his paws quietly, one in front of the other, he crept along towards his prey. Lowering himself even farther to the ground, he shot himself up and forward, like a slingshot, at the bird.

--------------------------------------- My heart booms at the speed of light Think things have gotten too attached I need an escape --------------------------------------- Lefty slowly but surely stalked the bird. Her mouth began to water, she wanted it more then anything. Now her surroundings didn't help her camouflage, but if she got low enough it shouldn't be able see her, but that wasn't what she was worried about, Each step she took was light and soft, she got closer and she flew the air, about to catch the bird, until she hit some one. Now she knew it couldn't be a tree, well because if it was, it hadn't been there before and she'd be going crazy. It either must be an other cat or something... Either way this wasn't good.
Lefty hit the ground hard. She halfheartedly stood up and looked at what has hit her. She was right it had been a cat. “What was that for?” She demanded with anger in her voice. She was shaking with anger, shaking with frustration she could have had that bird for a tasty dinner. She was shaking with hunger. Her belly rumbled with rage and hunger, but hunger for what? To kill this cat, or to eat...Lefty narrowed her eyes. “I could have gotten that! I could have eaten tonight!” She hissed at the Tom.
Lefty took an aggressive stance and stood there with a demonic smile across her lips. If this Tom was going to attack she would be ready. Ready to do anything, that hunger was still undecided but it could be and soon. Just one wrong word would set her off.

Do you know how long I've waited?
How could Coldfire have hit something in mid-air? He had scanned the area around him right before he had launched. Whatever would be hanging around in the air? Coldfire fell to the ground with a loud thud. His head was spinning, whatever he had hit was hard..and fuzzy. Coldfire's eyes blurred for a minute before clearing. His harsh green eyes glared at the object that he had hit. It was a cat. His eyes squinted even smaller. “What was that for?" The cat was shaking with anger, or hunger. But no cat could get that worked up over a bird. “I could have gotten that! I could have eaten tonight!” "Are you that selfish?! That was for my clan!" Coldfire spat. But was he really that angry? He didn't even care that much for the clan, so why would he get worked up over a bird? As he thought about this, Coldfire let out a chuckle. "Ha. The clan." Coldfire added, forgetting about the she-cat for a moment. Sometimes he wished he could just leave his clan, and live on his own. But he didn't care that much to do so; he was just along for the ride. But that bird could have at least fed one cat and he would have been able to pick something of his choosing out of the fresh-kill pile. Coldfire was suddenly hit by a thought. This cat was not ShadowClan. Was it another clan cat, freely hunting on their territory by herself? No, her scent was unfamiliar, even though it was tinged with the scents of the marsh. She must be a loner...But why would she stick around ShadowClan territory? That wasn't common behavior for most non-clan cats. They usually preferred to stay far away from the clans. "Who are you anyway, kitty cat?" Coldfire mewed as he sat down. He curled his long fluffy tail around his front paws and tilted his head. Coldfire examined the she-cat briefly, his green eyes flicking from her ears to her front paws. She was kind of pretty, if he was to judge. She sure was interesting, that was for sure.

--------------------------------------- My heart booms at the speed of light Think things have gotten too attached I need an escape --------------------------------------- With a grumble growing inside her, she looked at the Tom. “You are a Clan cat, I should have known. Who else would be hunting here...no other cat would have the back bone.” She hissed under her breath, looking at the Tom more carefully. His eyes seemed to show something more then he gave off. He looked almost at ease in her mind. Which was strange for a Clan cat...they normally would have chased her off, yet he didn't. Lefty slightly let some of the anger slip away from her and she opened her eyes to really see everything around her. Not that it was much different from before, but there was an other cat...which was hardly ever welcome.
With the mention of "Who are you anyway, kitty cat?" Her eyes narrowed again.
“I am not a kitty cat. I am a force to be reckoned with,” she hissed at him before continuing, “As you can see I wander alone, loner, as for my name. Lefty, Most cats ask why I hope you don't.” Truthfully she loved when cats asked her about her name, questions would pop up such as: 'Why, do you have two left paws?'. She decided to stay standing, whatever this cat was doing could be a trick...she never knew with Clan cats, they seemed to do these kinds of things all the time. An other thing she disliked about the Clan cats. It seemed the more she lived the more she began to hate everything around her.

To look up, from below, just to find someone like you. “You are a Clan cat, I should have known. Who else would be hunting here...no other cat would have the back bone.”
"Yup. Clan cat. How'd ya guess?" Coldfire said, winking at her. It was odd, but talking to this cat made him feel rather flirtatious. "And thanks for the compliment!" Coldfire could tell that this cat was a little hostile towards him, but it didn't bother him a bit. He was used to rude and harsh cats. He lived in ShadowClan, of course those kind of cats were around him. He still wondered why he was a part of ShadowClan. He knew he had no reason for staying in it. But he just wasn't sure if he could do the loner life; he already felt lonely enough as it was. He hissed, who was this soft kittypet he was acting like? It disgusted him. Glaring up at the she-cat, he listened to her response to his "kitty cat" comment. “I am not a kitty cat. I am a force to be reckoned with. As you can see I wander alone, loner, as for my name. Lefty, Most cats ask why I hope you don't.”
Coldfire couldn't help but snicker at what this cat, Lefty, said. Everything he was taught proved that loners were helpless. They had no previous training, no attack strategies, and probably no battle skills. Compared to a clan cat, they were practically kittypets. "You're a force to be reckoned with eh?" Coldfire asked, giving her an "oh really" look. He was not a stupid cat, he could tell when cats wanted something. And this one wanted him to ask about her name. It was as if she was baiting him to do so. So why not tease the little cat back? She was all too predictable. "Lefty eh? Well. I guess it's better than...Righty." Coldfire mewed, a slight chuckle entering his voice. He picked up a paw to lick it, it showed that he was truly at ease and carefree. This was sure to irritate the loner to no end.

--------------------------------------- My heart booms at the speed of light Think things have gotten too attached I need an escape --------------------------------------- In an instant, the conversation continued to stroll along, in a typical pattern that she was used to. The knowledge that she held for a young cat was, to some extent, remarkable. Yet her attention was running low, just as her hunger ran high. A hunger that was almost found, the cat so far hadn't pushed her to the edge, yet.
“My guess was quite simple, you had said that the bird was for your Clan. Plus it wasn't really a compliment. It was the truth, many cats would rather die then trespass, I on the other paw could care less.” Lefty found that this cat was easy to talk to although, he was a little persistent...which was something she didn't mind, at the moment. Not only that but he was reserved, but when he spoke he meant what he said, something that could not be ignored.
"You're a force to be reckoned with eh?" His doubt was unbelievable, she could deliver a good bite or a nice kick...maybe her need to be showed...but it wasn't the smartest move, not now at least. “Why yes, yes I am.” She hissed. Lefty looked at the Tom and ignored the sly comment about her name...it was something she hadn't heard before then. “May I ask who you are? Or should I go back to where I came from, because I could gladly do so.” She attempted to hide a demonic smile. This cat seemed quite at ease and it bothered her.

And will your love light burn me, baby? Burn a hole right through my heart.
With eyes the color of emeralds, the orange and white long-haired tom stared into the blue eyes of his companion. If one could even call the she-cat that. She possessed an evil look, like at any moment, she would attack. He thought they were sad eyes though, ones that he could help cure. His green and her blue mixed together to create turquoise, a color which symbolized calmness. For a loner and a ShadowClan cat, reaching a state of calm would be both a blessing, and an absurd occurrence. The elements that contributes to this color are water, sky, and spirit. Two cats mixing together, one from a world of loneliness and tough learning; and one cat from a clan he felt no connection. What StarClan had in store for these two cats was not by coincidence or chance. Their destiny was written among the stars, it was crossed with a dark path, a new light, and a hopeful beginning. Their future was a mixture of colors, turquoise being the obvious one, but also black and red, perhaps foreshadowing blood and complete chaos and confusion. But the last color, the one that was not on either's path in the beginning, is the one that is most worth mentioning. White. The color of pureness and hope; the dove; and of the light at the end of the tunnel. Coldfire could tell, there was something different about this cat. From the color and design of her pelt, to the red leaf on her ankle. It was as if StarClan couldn't figure out her design, so they threw in a bunch of random prints and ideas. And their final outcome, was Lefty. A cat of complete craziness, but also so intelligent. "I suppose I did give away where I'm from...And you're right. Most cats are spineless cowards...Why are you here? What makes you come back to ShadowClan territory, and from what it sounds like, more than just this time." Coldfire asked, emerald orbs staring into her sapphire ones. Whoever thought that today, he would have met this entirely...odd cat. And a she-cat at that. Just when he had been asking the stars for a change... Coldfire rolled back his large shoulders and sheathed and unsheathed his pearl white claws. While he had no intention of doing anything with them, he felt the need to move a little. He couldn't stand being still for so long. He wondered if she was that type of cat either; she didn't seem like a cat who would like to be stationary for long moments of time. "Why yes, yes I am." The sentence came out in a hiss. Coldfire believed her. There was strength behind those words; the way her teeth gnashed when she said them, and the snarl that issued after it. "May I ask who you are? Or should I go back to where I came from, because I could gladly do so.” "You wouldn't. I think you're enjoying yourself too much. Especially to be in the presence of a ShadowClan cat, which I can tell, irks you. I'm Coldfire. A complete oxymoron, two opposite words that somehow coincide with each other. I'm like hot and cold." Coldfire replied, the words rolling off his tongue. He had a knack for presenting himself, especially when it came to cats not a part of his own clan. And for some reason, he really wanted to impress this she-cat. Lefty had her own way of going about things, and he was going to show her, that he was a whole different way. If she preferred rain to sun, he was the fog. A combination; or better yet, the pearl in an oyster shell. To emphasis his words, he leaned in a little, he was less than a foot away from the loner's face now. "I'm like no one you've met before Lefty."

--------------------------------------- My heart booms at the speed of light Think things have gotten too attached I need an escape --------------------------------------- “Most cats are spineless cowards...Why are you here?” He asked with the most complex green eyes she had every seen, staring into her own blue eyes. She began to move and loosen her aggressive stance. As she moved her muscles relaxed and she began to calm down. This cat didn't seem hostile. “I am here, because unlike them, I wish to eat and live. I have the guts even some of your Clanmates don't have.” She said it with a steadiness and yet adrenaline pulsed throughout her body. A rush that she enjoyed. Lefty reluctantly sat down where she stood at that very moment and let her long tail sway back and forth. As she sat down she looked at the Tom right in the eye with a blaze of furry in her eyes.
“I'm Coldfire. A complete oxymoron, two opposite words that somehow coincide with each other. I'm like hot and cold. ” His pelt could be the fire and his random outbursts of cool comments could easily explain his name, but she knew that this couldn't be the correct answer. Lefty looked at the orange Tom as he leaned in and looked into his eyes. "I'm like no one you've met before Lefty." She let a small laugh escape her tight lips.
“Are you sure Coldfire. All Clan cats are the same. Brain washed and followers. Have you ever wanted to just be on your own? Have you ever wonder what ti would be like without them? Have you ever wanted to be free of all the pain they must put on you?” She asked with truthful wonder raining over her voice.

I think I might just trust you maybe Some say the world will end in fire; Some say in ice. From what I've tasted of desire I hold with those who favor fire. But if it had to perish twice, I think I know enough of hate To say that for destruction ice Is also great And would suffice.
No one has a clean slate. You'll always have something in your past that you'll regret, or wish you could do differently, or all-together erase. But there will always be some scratch; some dent on the slate. With every new step, you have to create a new path, one that is inscribed on a new palette. Paint with new colors, with different mixtures. Perhaps instead of using blue and green, create a turquoise. Change your way of thinking. Accept a stranger's help. Try getting to know someone new. Water extinguishes the fire, but then there's a new element to deal with, smoke."Cheers to you for being so...brave." Coldfire replied to her "I have the guts" comment. This cat really was something. Whether it was a good something, or a bad, he still was not sure. Still, it beat laying around camp. The she-cat sat down and he couldn't help but feel a little tug on his mouth. She had somehow ignored her best judgement and sat down. Not smart kitty, you don't let your guard down against a clan cat. After his last remark of him being different than anyone Lefty had met before, the snarky little cat replied with a laugh. No one else would have dared to do such a thing. Not to him at least. Coldfire bared his teeth at the she-cat, but she still had more to say. “Are you sure Coldfire. All Clan cats are the same. Brain washed and followers. Have you ever wanted to just be on your own? Have you ever wonder what it would be like without them? Have you ever wanted to be free of all the pain they must put on you?”Coldfire glared at the persistent cat. Who said that she could say whatever came to her mind? Words like that wouldn't even be allowed in his camp...And with that thought, it all made sense. He had no freedom in his clan. It was all ritual, patrol, hunt, sleep, wake up, patrol, hunt, etc. He was like a robot, working under the power of a cat that he called his leader. Coldfire despised having to do everything one cat said. What gave him the right to delegate? But the fact that this loner, Lefty, thought she could tell him his own thoughts...That angered him to no end. With white fangs that glinted in the dying sun, he snarled. Jumping up into Lefty's face, he hissed. Their noses were separated by mere inches. Don't you dare ask me questions like that. Do you think you're so high and mighty that you can say anything to any cat?! You're just a petty loner, who has to steal food off of other cat's land. And from clan cats! The ones that you put so far beneath you, like the dirt you walk on. Well it's disgusting. Before asking me so many questions about who I am and how I really want to live, why don't you realize your're your own hypocrite! Coldfire growled, green eyes flashing with intense anger. They were like fireworks erupting and glowing; so much hate and sadness were reflected in them and he could tell that Lefty could probably read right though them. What kind of cat was he to let a leader destroy his own pride? And to let this she-cat to get to him? He huffed a short cold breath out and turned his eyes away from her. He was sure that she'd have a witty little response, something to make him feel even worse. Pathetic. That's what I am.

Lefty sat there looking at him with a happy glint in her eye.“Oh sit down there is no need to get so emotional! I have never know what its like to be a Clan cat but I have been here long enough to know much about your Clan.” She looked into his fiery eyes of green. In those eyes shone sadness and anger of some sort. She had a half smile across her lips showing her teeth. Lefty stood up and let her long claws out. She began to circle him. He was...upset for lack of a better word...he could attack at anytime.“You are Shadows,” She began, “Live at night and are dark souls. I fit in here. That is why I am here, but I could never be apart of A Clan I know who I am so far...and I won't change.”Her eyes became a dark, evil or sadness behind it, If you couldn't see past them you would see pain that was going to be put on you. Even if all it was, was a look that disappeared in seconds, it would send a chill throughout your body as she hope it did to Coldfire.
Lefty exhaled and looked softly at Coldfire and stopped in place. “Why are you like this? Why are you angry with me. I know that you want to leave,” She said walking up to him and whispering in his ear, “I know it.” She rested her tail on his back.

But I'm not sure, I'm not sure I'd wanna know.
With every choice, there's a consequence. Cause and effect. Decision and outcome. Each new step, sends you into a whole other direction. There's no crystal ball telling you where to go. You have to look up into the stars, take a chance, and go for it. Your own happiness should come first. Push through the ropes, break down the walls, and fly. Coldfire did not expect Lefty's response; it was cool and calm. “Oh sit down there is no need to get so emotional! I have never know what its like to be a Clan cat but I have been here long enough to know much about your Clan.” Coldfire narrowed his eyes at the she-cat's words. The smile that was on her face was, to put it simply, demonic. This didn't frighten him; he was used to such faces in battle. Smile, it confuses the enemy. Scare them, make them think they're in over their heads. What was she thinking? This cat...This cat was a creature of intelligence and cunning. Once she began to circle him, Coldfire knew something was about to happen. Luckily for him, he had very sharp reflexes. If she tried something, he'd be on her like a hawk on a mouse. “You are Shadows. Live at night and are dark souls. I fit in here. That is why I am here, but I could never be apart of A Clan I know who I am so far...and I won't change.”I'm a shadow? The words were so simple...Yet so powerful. He was exactly like a shadow. He felt alive in the darkness, no, he was the darkness. It wasn't because he had been, was still, a part of ShadowClan. Perhaps it had started him out as the cat he was now, but throughout all the battles, all of the blood and scars, the nights where he felt like breaking out of the camp and just running through the black sky...That's what he was. Coldfire was a lithe darkness that could devour any light there was. That's why he had no friends in ShadowClan; he was never meant to. And this cat...This cat had something to offer. She wasn't asking him to change...From what it sounded like, she wanted him exactly how he already was. Lefty's dark eyes stared intensely into his. As beautiful as they were, they were frightening, if he was any less of a cat than he was. But he felt like he was going to fall into them at any second, into the deep blue abyss, where his troubles would simply, melt away... “Why are you like this? Why are you angry with me. I know that you want to leave." It was as if she read his mind...Leaving the clan, as forbidden as it was, it sounded delicious issuing from the she-cat's mouth. “I know it.” This last part was spoken very close to his ear; her hot breath tickled him. Somehow, the cat being so close to him didn't anger him, but exhilarated him. How did she know...But wait...What if this was all a trick? He was not a stupid cat. He knew how to think for himself, and no quick-tongued she-cat could change his mind. Then he felt a soft tail slide onto his back. As simple as the gesture was...It sent chills down his spine. Flattening his ears against his head, he let out a sigh of contentment. How long had it been since he was this close to a she-cat? He flicked through his memories like a television, Snowberry, Stormpelt. Nothing had worked out. It didn't bother him though. They were nothing to him now. Simply grey smudges in his mind. But maybe, just maybe he could try something new. Not another ShadowClan cat. They were all the same, a disappointment. But something about Lefty made him nervous, as if he had no idea what she was really thinking. In a way, this was thrilling, but also made him anxious. He had no clue what would happen next. "Really. How would you know that. We barely know each other." Coldfire replied, a mere whisper it seemed among the otherwise quite marshland. If this cat was going to try to seduce him, he would submit to it. He was a tom after all...After replying, he turned to look at Lefty. What would she do next? The question rang in his ears and he felt his heart pick up it's beat. Why was he so excited? He had met many she-cats before, and none ever got his adrenaline pumping like this.

--------------------------------------- My heart booms at the speed of light Think things have gotten too attached I need an escape --------------------------------------- She felt and saw his reaction. His sigh was full of joy and happiness...perfect...just what she wanted, but Lefty would have to be careful. "Really. How would you know that. We barely know each other." His voice was quiet and a little shocked she thought.
Lefty slowly pressed her nose into his pelt, as if she was comforting him before saying: “I know because I felt the same way, but I found someone who changed that. That she-cat changed my life...” She said into his fur which smelt sweet and felt soft. She sighed inwardly then shook her head and sat down beside him and looking up into the sky. The sun was setting making the sky a light pinks, oranges, and yellows. Her tail began to twitch back and forth, it was as if it was rubbing his back lovingly.
“If you'd like I could see if she'd like to meet you? Maybe you could even come with me to the meeting place.” Lefty said looking away from the sky's beaut to look at Coldfire's eyes. She needed to see what he was like, if she could read him now. She couldn't help but see the wonderful emerald green eyes and the brilliant orange pelt that matched the sky, he was a different cat that was for sure. Lefty let her cool eyes wander about the scene she was in, the tom was already annualized and so was they sky, but the marsh it's self was some what beautiful, the little bits of grass and the mud together was an interesting mix, but not as interesting as the Tom sitting beside her.

You hear about evil all the time. The awful things that take place; murders, stealing, things like that. But what if you were the evil? What if you were the shadow, the darkness, that everyone was afraid of? You're the ones in the stories that kids go to sleep terrified because of. You are evil, you're murder. You're worse than death itself. Can you change your fate? Can you throw a curve ball and throw everyone off? Decisions, decisions. It all comes down to choice again. Think about it. Do you want to be the boogeyman? Or the hero, the knight in shining armor?
Lefty's soft nose was comforting against his long hair. “I know because I felt the same way, but I found someone who changed that. That she-cat changed my life...” What? What was this cat talking about? He felt the tickling touch of her tail flicking lazily along his back. But something was off. The loner, who had been so vile and rude to him in the beginning, was now melting like putty. Coldfire was not a stupid cat, and his warrior instinct told him that there was something wrong. Her words were dripping with far too much honey. It was as if a switch was flicked, and after he realized this, he took a couple steps back. “If you'd like I could see if she'd like to meet you? Maybe you could even come with me to the meeting place.” The way she was looking at him...He had never had a cat look at him that way before. He tried not to get submerged in her ocean eyes, which was very hard not to do. But he had been raised and trained to be able to sense danger. And this cat seemed to be full of it. Be alert. Be aware. The marsh is a dangerous place, evil could be lurking in every shadow. Be on your guard. Who was this cat she was talking about? It seemed to him, that this 'life-changing' cat was almost godlike to Lefty. He wasn't too sure about that, he was ruled by StarClan. He even tended to follow the warrior code pretty nicely. "What's all this nonsense you're talking about?" Coldfire asked, his voice deepening. This would definitely alert Lefty that his mood had dramatically changed. "What she-cat changed your life?" Coldfire thought that Lefty was a loner, not answering or perhaps not even talking to many cats. So why would he associate with one long enough to have a life alteration? He watched as she gazed around, taking in the sky, the marsh, and him. Even though he was on his guard, he couldn't help but admire her beauty. Why would such a pretty cat be out on her own? The world was a scary place, and unfortunately, bad things happened. He had heard stories about the rogues, bloodthirsty cats. No, they weren't cats, they were beasts, filthy creatures not worthy of being a part of the cat species. Shaking his head, he cleared away his wandering thoughts. Concentrate Coldfire. This cat is like a siren, beautiful, but could be leading you into danger, or worse, your death. Take a breath, remember who you are. Coldfire's grass-green eyes locked onto her sky blue ones. "If there's a meeting place, it doesn't sound like somewhere I want to be. That sounds like something for evil cats to lecture and preach some bad ideas." Coldfire replied, after a long silence. He could hear the crickets beginning to chirp their nightly serenade, and his fur layed flat along his spine. Whatever this cat told him, he'd keep his calm. Calm.
