[/u]Here's to help those who are new to Warriors Saga and don't truly understand what each of the different rankings are or what each clan is about in nature and personality.
Clans
RIVERCLAN
a clan that has a love for water and the only clan that will go in the water without going into a panic. they are stiff and proud and don't like to show their weaknesses to other clans. they live on an enclosed area that may seem like an island being close to the river.
SHADOWCLAN
shadowclan cats are known to be devious and very cunning. they hunt during the night because it allows them to stay within the shadows and not been seen by the prey. and because they are better hunters at night than any other clan. hence the average dark, earthy shades of their pelts.
THUNDERCLAN
thunderclan cats are brave. they are the ones that will stand up for what they believe in and won't go down without a fight. they live in a wooded area near the thunderpath. they are true to their name and loyal to the warrior code.
WINDCLAN
these cats are flighty and agile. they are quick on their feet and can easily catch a rabbit while out hunting. they live out on the moorland near the tall grasses. they are the clan closest to the highstones. they don't live in dens unless they truly have to due to the weather, which they claim they are closer to starclan because of this. perhaps they are, they certainly have lived through many disastrous tragedies to say so.
Rankings
LEADERS
they lead the clan. they are known to be wise and very trusting. they are given nine lives when they go from deputy to clan leader. they are the ones that make most of the decisions in the clan with the help of the deputy and medicine cat. leaders give naming ceremonies, meetings, and choose new deputies. when a leader is dying, they have the choice to not allow their deputy to take their place if they feel the deputy will put the clan to shame and will choose a new deputy to take his or her place as clan leader after they die. they have the final say for what goes on in the clan.
DEPUTIES
they are the second-in-command of the clan. they organize hunting and border patrols. they also take the place of leader when the leader is ill. to become deputy a warrior must have trained at least one apprentice before being chosen as deputy. they do not have to become leader, they can retire and a new deputy may be chosen to take their place. they become leader after the old leader dies or retires or takes the life of a kittypet, loner, or rogue.
MEDICINE CATS
medicine cats are those who take care of the clan. they are in charge of gathering herbs and healing the wounds of warriors earned in battle. they can interpret dreams given from starclan and see if there is something wrong with the clan. they meet with the other medicine cats every half moon to go to the mothermouth to share dreams with starclan. they may take on an apprentice if they feel ready to take one on. usually this happens when they are a bit more experienced as a medicine cat. medicine cats are not to be attacked by anyone. to do so will be an omen of bad luck by starclan. this includes medicine cat apprentices as well.
MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICES
these cats start off as apprentices and they may be chosen by the medicine cat of the clan or be given a sign from starclan that they are to be a medicine cat. they are taught by the current medicine cat until they know what herbs to use and how to treat wounds. they are medicine cat apprentice until the current medicine cat is killed, dies, or retires. but they are not like normal apprentices. they receive their name and continue to be an apprentice after earning their name.
ELDERS
elders are the cats who cannot hunt or train apprentices anymore. these cats are old and spend the rest of their days out in the camp. they get help from the apprentices who clean out their bedding, and pick out ticks. they are usually telling stories of their warrior or apprentice days and soaking in the warm sun.
QUEENS
queens are she-cats who are pregnant or kitting soon. they usually take residence up in the nursery when they start showing a swollen belly. they will live in a nursery until their kits are apprentices and some may stay there to help other queens go through the birth of the kits. they usually stay in the camp unless accompanied by a warrior, usually their mate, to go outside of camp to not have an ambush on them and be defenseless in the attack. perhaps even to make sure that in the event that they kit too soon, they will not be alone and helpless.
WARRIORS
male and she-cats who are not kitting soon. they have gone through their training as an apprentice and have earned their warrior name. these are the true heroes of the clan. they go out and hunt to feed the clan. they are given apprentices by the leader to teach what they learned to the soon-to-be warriors of the clan. they guard the clan and fight for their clans. when they receive their warrior name, they must stand guard over the camp from their naming ceremony until moonhigh the next day. they aren't allowed to talk or eat anything and must defend the camp. warriors are to defend the clan with their life.
APPRENTICES
these cats are six moons old (six months old). they're given a warrior to train them and teach them to learn how to fight and hunt. a cat must go through the training process until they can be a warrior. usually it lasts until they are nearly twelve moons old or more. depending on if they are ready yet to become a warrior. they are the cats that clean out the dirty moss and change it with new moss, pick out the ticks in elders' fur and hunt for the clan before they can feed themselves.
KITS
kits are the future generation of the clans. they are not to be harmed by anybody. if a kit is to be found lost or in trouble a warrior must take care of that kit even if it is not from their clan. kits are the future of the clans. they are to stay with their mother in the nursery until they are six moons old before they can be an apprentice. they cannot leave the camp unless they are given permission to go out with a warrior or their mother to go outside of the camp.
KITTYPETS
these cats have the soft life. they live with humans or twolegs as the clan cats call them. they live in a twoleg nest and are fed pellets. they are groomed and don't know how harsh it is for the clan cats to live outside in the wild. usually you can hear them by the bells attached to their collars. kittypets are known to be weak, but there is the occasional kittypet destined to be a warrior of some sort.
LONERS
loners are cats who are not part of a clan and usually live alone. they stay in a territory but do not defend it. they don't live by the warriors code and don't bother with the clans.
ROGUES
these are cats who don't live by the warrior code, but don't stay in a territory for long. they don't always play nice and tend to hate the clans. they are known to attack clans at their own cost at hoping to gain a territory for themselves.
