Minnowpaw nodded. His legs started shaking. He was becoming very nervous. He walked up to Icestar. "How?" He asked.

Icestar let out a purr of amusement as she took a few steps backwards. "Why don't you try to attack me? It will give me a chance to see your crouch, pounce and quickness at the same time." she mewed with a nod towards him.

Minnowpaw got even more nervous. What if I'm not good enough... He thought. He decided to give it his best. He stared to run around IceStar, in a crouch. He was very quick, and hoped he could dizzy his enemies. Then, suddenly, he ran in and headbutted Ice Star with all his force, hoping she would fall over. Then, he unsheathed his claws and pretende to stab, but instead, he flipped and tried to kicked her. He backed away quickly to dodge a could be attack.

Icestar shift a little when the apprentice ran into her side. He was quick, she had to give him that. with a little more power she would have been on the ground. Then, the leader noticed his decision to pretend to stab, and then suddenly switch to a kick. She smiled at his thought in attacking, noticing his quickness was not only in movement, but in thought. Icestar stepped off to the side, suddenly dodging his kicking blow, and quickly batted for the side of his head, gently with paw and sheathed claws. She nodded to him with a smile. "You are very quick Minnowpaw, I almost lost you while you were running around me. Your decision in fighting techniques is very impressive as well. I could tell this when you suddenly decided to use your hind paws to kick, instead of your claws to stab." she nodded again. "And I'm also sure you weren't putting all of your power into those blows, since this was only a test...? If you had hit me any harder, i would have been in the dirt." she couldn't help but let out a mrrow of amusement. "Minnowpaw, you may join Shadowclan and become a warrior if you'd like." she finished, as she had a seat infront of him.

Minnowpaw blushed in happiness. "Thank you, IceStar. I promise, I will do the Clan nothing but good!" He mewed. He ranover to Stormwing to tell her the news.

"I heard! I'm so happy! And to join as a warrior! Wow! I can't wait for the ceremony. I love you and it will be so good for us now that you are about to be a warrior." She purred and pressed against him.

Finally. No more hiding. She waited for Icestar to walk away so that she could lick his cheek. It felt wrong to do it in the presence of her leader.

Icestar flicked her ears in amusement at the two youngs cats, and then stood to her paws. She was glad to be able to make others happy. Now she needed to think of those kits and apprentices who need to be apprentices and warriors soon, as well as the future mentors. Icestar sighed at the thought of the work and thought she would have to put into it, but another thought, the one of making those cats happy, put a smile on her face. The leader turned and padded away, heading for the fresh-kill pile as she header her stomach rumble.

Storwing licked his cheek as so as she left and twined her tail with his. "I can't wait for your ceremony." She began to purr softly. It stopped. She had closed her eyes only for a moment and the first picture she saw was her mother's face twisted in greif as her daughter was chased out of camp. As soon as he has his warrior ceremony...she told her self I will find you...

Minnowpaw licked her ear to, and began purring loudly also. "I love you, Stormwing." He whispered. Then, he noticed her stop instantly. "What's the matter? He asked worriedly.

I can't tell him yet. I will wait "Nothing. I was just thinking about my mother. At least I told him part of it. "I love you,too. I think that Icestar might let you go ahead and sleep in the warriors den tonight." She pressed against him again and began to purr. She is still alive. I know she is. she has to be...

Minnowpaw suddenly began to panic. "Umm... it's okay. I'll sleep outside. Get familiar with the scents." He meowed frantically. He didn't want to tell her his secret.

Stormwing sensed his anxiety right away. "That's the good thing about being blind, all your other senses get better. What is wrong? Tell me. You can trust me. Please." She twined her tail with his again.
