Hawkeye tensed. Then he purred softly in amusement. He knew that he was being used as a lesson, so he didn't move a muscle.

She got off her mentor as she rolled from underneath her. The white kit was so proud of herself! She would be the best warrior ever with Nightcloud as her mentor!
Then she took a whiff of the air, as her mentor instructed. The hair on her neck bristled."It's another cat!" she hissed. Then she calmed down. "From-Shadow-clan." she said between sniffs.

Firestorm purred as Nightcloud and Whitepaw trained together. His heart raced and his mind wanted to be with Nightcloud alone though. He could imagine them, just the two of them, tails twindled together, their hearts beating as one. He tiled his head back to scent her, but another cat was there as well, it was Hawkeye! His muscles tensed as he realized another tom was watching Nightcloud train her apprentice.....his precious Nightcloud.....was she possibly in love with Hawkeye? Could it be so? He suddenly got to his paws, a tear falling down his cheek and he turned towards camp. He looked over his shoulder at Nightcloud, tear wet eyes glitting in the night. Then he turned back towards camp and darted for it....back to Tawnyclaw, his best friend.....he would look to her for guidance.....

Hawkeye watched, confused, as Firestorm turned and padded away. He shrugged it off. "Sorry, I just wanted to be prepared for when I have my apprentice". He hoped the she-cat wouldn't mind. By now he had stepped out of the shadows. "Your Nightcloud right? My sister said that you two met on a walk in the marsh. Along with Icewhisker, Ebonyheart, and Mapleclaw". He looked at wide-eyed Whitepaw briefly as he waited for the mentor to respond.

"Yes, I am Nightcloud and this is Whitepaw." Nightcloud said wanting to follow Firestorm, but reisted. "And you must be Hawkeye, then. Firefur's brother.' then turned to Whitepaw and said "great job, Whitepaw as you see it was a Shadowclanner! Now, how about that hunting lesson?" Nightcloud spun around to sit next to Whitepaw.

Hakeye turned and retreated into the bushes. He then called over his shoulder, "You better go see Firestorm,"before he disappeared.

I better. Nightcloud thought. "i am sorry to delay training, but something is making Firestorm unhappy and it might be serious. We will contine train a little later, okay!" nightcloud slow sprinted back to camp and turn to say one last thing. "Oh, and Whitepaw you may want to go see Bristlekit, He is with Tawnyclaw right now, and I think he is in trouble." Then, she ran full speed to camp.
