Light blue eyes watched as a leaf rolled across the ground, crouching low she stalked it silently. Just before it was swept away Dovepaw pounced, landing she heard a satisfying crunch underneath her paws. Stepping back she watched the particles float away on the breeze, it soothed her in a way. Kneading the ground beneath her she stretched, opening her mouth in a yawn she licked her lips before bounding off towards camp. It felt good to stretch her legs; swerving around a rock she startled a rabbit, it shot right between her legs and off over the hill. Slowing she sniffed the area, the faint smell of milk wafted from somewhere around the area. Creeping toward the area the rabbit sprang from Dovepaw tried to catch the scent again. It was stronger in this area definitely, slowly combing the area she finally found what she was looking for. The kitting den was small, but the kits were still too far out of reach. Scratching the ground with her paws she tried to widen it a little, it was a slow process.
Checking every so often Dovepaw finally got it to the point where she could slide her paw and touch the kits. Hooking her paw onto one she dragged it from the darkness and quickly dispatched it, contemplating whether she should try for another one she decided one was big enough to feed a clan-mate and continued on back to camp. Her movement had slowed significantly after she had caught the kit, and finally she reached the outer perimeter of camp. Sliding through the tunnel she quickly placed her kill on the pile before heading towards the apprentice den. Settling down near it she quickly groomed herself plucking random leaves and other debris from her pelt.

The tom sped over the lands, black paws thrumming against the ground as he gave chase. His paws barely touched the ground beneath them before they were forced up again, the process repeating. Sagewhisker's long black tail reached out behind him, streaming out behind the tom as he ran. The long black furs would occasionally brush against the smallest parts of his hind legs as they swept up, but before the furs could wrap around the black legs they retreated back to the Earth, only to return into the clutches of the fur, just to retreat again. The process continued as he ran. The black tom's head pushed closer to the ground as he sped over the territory, closing the distance between predator and prey. Sagewhisker kept his bright amber yellow eyes trained on the white mammal that ran desperately from the cat who was gaining speed on him. But alas the clan had to be fed and the tom was just one to do it. The distance suddenly grew short as the tom dug his claws into the ground, pushing his form on harder, and suddenly was on top of the white rabbit. With a quick claw, he sent the form tumbling, and, maintaining speed, bit into its neck. The rabbit had a quick death, as all prey should.
The scents of the freshly killed rabbit rushed the tom quickly. The aromas danced around in his mouth, tickling the sensitive scent glands in the nose. The scents made the tom drink in the scents, flooding his nostrils. Sending a quick thanks to Starclan, the tom picked up his rabbit, and turned back towards camp. He ran, but not at such the pace the tom had run earlier. Because of the prey in his mouth, scents were practically untraceable. Trying to scent around a piece of prey in your mouth was hard, and Sagewhisker knew it. But he knew the territory like one would know their house. So finding Camp wasn't hard, and as the familiar landscape came into view, the tom slowed, rabbit still clutched tightly in his jaws.
The tom entered camp, and headed straight for the fresh kill pile. Dropping the newest and freshest kill, he saw another just recently dropped. It was a baby rabbit. He sighed. The tom didn't believe in killing the young ones, but he knew it was needed to feed a hungry clan. His eyes closed for a second, before opening again. Realizing the hunger that ate at him, he realized he hadn't eaten since that morning, and grabbed a small rabbit near the bottom of the pile. A piece rolled away from the pile, and headed towards him. He struck out his paw, stopping the prey in its tracks. Then he pushed it back over to the pile with a black paw, his small rabbit still in his jaws.
His gaze swept the camp, and he saw Dovepaw. He approached her, and dropped his meal. "Mind if I join you?" The tom waited for a reply from the female, a small smile on his lips.

Mind if I join you? Dovepaw looked over to see Sagewhisker near her, a young rabbit at his feet. “Oh, I don’t mind Sagewhisker, in fact I was hoping for a bit of company.” She smiled at the tom before looking off over the clan. “Everything has seemed peaceful but I know nothing is ever peaceful. Tensions between us and RiverClan have been high…” Dovepaw trailed off knowing that Sagewhisker knew exactly where she was going. He wasn’t a kit; he knew the ins and outs of clan life, perhaps better than she did at the moment. Turning her eyes to the sky she could see a dark tint to the usually light clouds moving overhead. “Oh I hope it doesn’t rain, I wasn’t built to be a RiverClan cat.” She turned to the warrior. “What have you been up too Sagewhisker? I think I’ve had a bit too much time on my paws, and yet I still can’t manage to get myself into any trouble.” Sighing she chuckled a little, she didn’t seem like the other apprentices, not at all.
