Rainpaw lay fast asleep in the Apprentices Den. She was dreaming about being a warrior. Her claws scraping against other cats pelts in battle, hunting in the river, the smooth and slimey fish swimming past her paws. It was heaven. He paws sunk into the soft soil as she raced along the border of RiverClan. She wanted to know what it was like in the other Clans territories. She looked beyond RiverClan boarder, as far as she could, but there was nothing to see. It all went black, and she was back in the RiverClan Camp. Wait... Not RiverClan! ShadowClan! ShadowClan was Rainpaw's worst nightmare. She was terrified of them. Cats told her they ate bones, and would kill each other for food if they were starving. Rainpaw was about to turn and run when she realized it was nothing like that. She walked through the camp, no one noticing her. She looked around, and peeked her head into the nursery. Aww... What adorable kits! She thought as she looked at 3 tiny, newborn kits. She jumped as she felt claws scrape against her face. Blood was dripping down. She looked at who had done it. She wasn't sure, as almost every cat in ShadowClan were there. She turned to run, but they were all surrounding her in a circle. Traitor, traitor, traitor... They were all whispering in a chant around her. "Stop! Stop! PLEASE!" She begged.
Frostpaw awoke to the smell of fresh prey. A hunting partol mush have just gotten back. And what a nightmare that was what she just had. O well, she was awake now... And hungry. Frostpaw stretched with a wide yawn, then stood up. Without grooming herself, she walked over to the freshkill pile and grabbed herself a shrew. With her mess and scrambled up fur, she headed back to the apprentices den. She sat outside of it and ate her breakfast. Once she was done, she thought of something to do today. She was prettysure she couldn't go on hunting patrols yet because she didn't have a mentor, and she still hadn't been given any duties to do. Actually, she had never done any duties in her life! Then she thought of something to do. She would go out for a walk. Maybe go to the boards and see if she could find a boarder patrol. She wanted to see what they did. She finally gave herself a quick grooming, not enough to get everywhere, but it was good enough for her, then she headed off. She was an apprentice. No one should stop her from leaving the camp...
Then she thought twice about leaving. Maybe it was a bad idea. No one knew where she was going, and they might end up sending out a search party. What if she got hurt? No one would know where she was to help her. She'd be lucky if someone found her. Thus, Rainpaw turned around and headed back to the apprentices den. She didn't want to go back in and sleep. What she wanted was a friends to play with. A mentor to train with. It was lonely and boring having no friends, and no mentor. Rainpaw sighed. When would the day ever come? She sat and wondered what to do. Maybe an apprentice would come along that she could play with. Maybe fait had it all laid out for her. She's get a friend, and mentor, and even get to train with her friend, mentor, and friend's mentor. Although, sometimes fait needed a bit of a hand. She decided to back into the apprentices den, and introduce herself. Not that the apprentices didn't know her, but maybe they'd get to know her even more. "Hello! I'm Rainpaw! Does anyone want to be my friend?" That was the best she could come up with, so she stuck with it.

.slatepaw. oh i just can't wait to be king
tranquillity. its a word of peace, and feeling. it could be joyful, or depressing. its like a border. its neutral. people interperet how they want. most frequently it can be describe as lonliness. when its peaceful, no one is talking. which most of the time means no one is there. which makes the beautiful word go to a sorrowful one. but if its peaceful, that could also be a sunrise in winter. where frost clings to grass and makes it sparkle. it could be a walk in the woods, with birds chirping melodies. but as slatepaw saw it, tranquillity meant sleep.
he was dreaming, his tail laid over his gray nose. his lids closed over his electrifying orbs, in a nest in the apprentice's den. he must have been having a bad dream because his paws twitched, as if he were running from something. and that he was. he was running from a two-leg monster, his paws drumming gently over the rough surface of thunderpath. he didn't even know why he was there, seeing as that was the shadowclan thunderclan border. his paw pads stung from running on the surface. He looked back the twoleg monster was closer then before. frantic the older apprentice tried desperatley to put on more speed but that was impossible. he was already sprinting. when he looked back again the monster was on top of him. he barely felt the impact before his eyes snapped open.
his blue eyes peered around curiously, unsure at first whether it was a dream or not. he didn't have much time to ponder it because a small figure appeared in the entrance of the den. slatepaw breathed in, catching her scent. it was rainpaw. "Hello! I'm Rainpaw! Does anyone want to be my friend?" she mewed eagerly. slatepaw picked up his head, pushing himself into a sitting position. no one here bites the handsome young tom said. he winked, smiling in her direction. he looked at her curiously. little eager are we? slatepaw mewed, amused. here's a hint, he flicked his pink tongue across his nose. if you want friends, dont ask for them...just talk, mmk? he looked around. the rest of the den was empty. notes;muse; crappy. words; 374 start song; dance dance-- falloutboy end song; devour-- shinedown comments; eh sorry about the suckishness. but you looked like you needed someone to rp with ^^[/blockquote]

{OOC It looks like a decent RP }
Rainpaw looked around and saw only one apprentice. "No one here bites." an older apprentice, a tom to be exact, had spoken. "Little eager are we?" He asked. "Here's a hint, if you want friends, don't ask for them... Just talk, mmk?" Rainpaw wasn't sure what to say. She searched her mind for ideas. Then she thought of something to say, which was at least better than nothing. "OK, well, how about I talk to you since there's no one else in here." Even though this apprentice was older, that didn't mean they couldn't talk and be friends, right?
"So how long have you been training for?" Rainpaw asked. "I don't even have a mentor yet... I'v been waiting for ages, but still no mentor..." Rainpaw said sadly, looking down at her paws. She said no more, but she just rose her head to look at the apprentices eyes, then turned away and looked out the entrance of the den. It would be nice to have Stormpelt as my mentor, but like that's ever going to happen. She thought. Being a medicine cat sounded so much fun! All of the different herbs, healing cats, and best of all, talking to StarClan. She wonder what that would be like, and if she would ever get to talk to StarClan in her life. Even if she wasn't a medicine cat.
{OOC Sorry... My muse is quite low this morning... I woke up not too long ago.}

. s l a t e p a w .oh i just cant wait to be king the she-cat seemed to be confused from where the voice had been coming from. her eyes scanned the den before they landed on slatepaw. she took a moment to comprehend what the young tom had said. she's weird, slatepaw thought, his blue eyes piercing rainpaw. she only contemplated a moment more before speaking. "OK, well, how about I talk to you since there's no one else in here." she asked. she seemed hopeful...but why? didn't she have other friends? it's 'cause your so charming, he told himself, smiling. sure, better than cleaning the nursery, he mewed. yes it was so much better. slatepaw hadn't yet had to clean out the elders den, or the nursery for that matter, which was a good thing. who finds it fun to do that when they could be out hunting, or patroling? not him.
he looked out behind the she-cat. it was noon-high, so he really had slept for a long time. oh well, he thought, turning back to the she-cat. "So how long have you been training for?"
rainpaw asked. "I don't even have a mentor yet... I'v been waiting for ages, but still no mentor..." she seemed downcast after that. she looked at her paws, a look of sadness crossing her face. hey, don't worry about it. i'm sure swishstar will appoint you a new mentor soon! until then, make sure you try and tag along with other apprentice's and their mentors, he blinked, trying to recall who his own mentor was. i've been training for about three moons, actually the other day there was a border skirmish. against windclan. it was awesome, notes; words; 287 muse; crappy. x.x might be the worst post i've written with him. start song; i dont care-- falloutboy end song; never say never-- threedaysgrace comments; don't worry about it. ^^ sorry about the wait ! {OOC I have like no muse, so this is probably going to be the worst post in WS history... Sorry}
Rainpaw started to daydream a bit. She wanted to Stormpelt's apprentice, but had she been waiting for too long? If she didn't get a mentor soon, then she'd be an apprentice forever! Then everyone would laugh at her and make fun of her. "Sure, better than cleaning the nursery." Rainpaw awoke to the sound of Slatepaw's voice. Then Rainpaw asked her other question, and got her responce from Slatepaw. The WindClan thing sounded kind of cool, and Rainpaw wished she could have been there. So, do you maybe want to go hunting?" She asked, then quickly added in, "If we're alloud of course." She hadn't been out hunting in ages, and she was dying to stretch out her legs and do some good for her Clan, rather than just sit around all day and eat all of the prey on the fresh-kill pile. Was Rainpaw starting to get... Fat? She hardly ever did anything because there were never any patrols to go on, and she didn't have a mentor... Wait, but Slatepaw had some triaing. "Wait, I ahve a better idea. How about we go train together. You can teach me what you know, and I, well, I can teach you some tricks I have up my sleeve... I just, haven't had any training, and maybe you could help me get started on it." She looked hopefully at Slatepaw. Then she added in, "And then after some training we could go hunting... What do you think?"
