One Sentence Description: lean, long legged tabby she-cat with pale green eyes.
Appearance:
the female’s body structure is plainly built for that of a windclan cat. her legs are longer than most, but the average size for pure-blood windclan cats. her shoulders and legs are strongly muscles, built for running long distances in a quick amount of time on flat surfaces and somewhat rocky surfaces. the female’s torso is actually longer than the average cats, but it suits her whole build nicely. she is not large, nor is she so small that she could be considered an apprentice. her hind legs are strong and built for jumping and crouching. her tail is long and kinked slightly at the end. when one looks at her fur, they notice that her fur is short and leaning toward a moderate thickness when it comes to softness. it keeps her from being too annoyed in greenleaf, and from being too uncomfortable in leafbare.
a narrow and somewhat small face compliments the female’s lean body structure. her ears are placed a little too far out on the crown of her head, but they are tipped sharply at both the left and right points. the crown of the female’s head is covered thickly in black fur, and the black fur streaks its way forward through the middle of her forehead. the hairs grow finer in texture, and the color soon turns into sporadic, tiny specks of both light and dark browns mixed in with different shades of gray and black. the color on the outside of the female’s nose, outlining the inner tear ducts and both the upper and lower areas of both eyes is a sandy tan color, which brightens the green hues of both eyes.
the female’s eyes slant upward, and on the topmost corner of the she-cat’s eyes, one notices two dark brown – nearly black – stripes that curve downward and mix into the stripes covered her thickly furred cheeks. there is a pretty rust color that covers the end of the female’s nose, which turns into a sooty black as it reaches the she-cat’s nose. the female’s nose is dark pink in coloration, giving it a velvety look. the outer edges of the female’s nose are lined with a small, black line of skin, the same color that borders the female’s eyes. the fur surrounding the female’s nicely colored nose is the same, light sandy fur, which soon blends in evenly with the creamy-white fur surrounding her mouth and chin.
as nice as the creamy fur looks, it only lasts a small bit as it runs its way down the female’s throat. her throat is evenly striped, the fur thick and layered. the colors grow darker as they continue down, and halfway between the female’s underbelly and chin, a small black line forms, wrapping itself around her chest and around both shoulders. below that, the fur begins to take on a slightly white color, with browns mixed in, almost a salt and pepper look, but the color only continues for a few inches until the black stripes start to form, weaving their way down the female’s forelegs. kestrelfall’s forelegs are covered thickly with stripes, and they continue all the way down her front even when they reach her paws. the female’s paws are neat and round, dark in comparison to some of her fur, but covered in thin dashes of black.
when one takes a glance at the female from the side, they aren’t very sure if whether her sides are filled with stripes or spots. they aren’t crazy, because they female’s pelt patterns are a little odd compared to that of a normal tabby. instead of having stripes work their way around every surface of her sides and back, the stripes are small and scattered around her sides, and spots line the black stripe lining her spine. the most heavily stripes areas along the female’s body would have to be the back area of her torso, both her left and right hind legs and her tail. apart from that, they stripes are short and random, and adorable spots line her long spine.
the female’s hind legs are heavily muscled, wrapped thickly with muscles that have grown with her growing, lean body. they are heavily striped, especially near her thighs, and are also – oddly – striped in the inner thigh area. the stripes weaken and disperse as one’s eyes search the area near the female’s actual hind legs, where the color consists of a pretty mixture of fine brown and black hairs. the female’s hind paws are large and oval, and help her with running through the somewhat rocky terrain under the tail grasses. the warrior’s tail is long, kinked near the end, and heavily striped, ending in a neat, black tip, looking as if it were dipped in ink.

Personality:
the female has a very interesting personality. she has many negative and positive traits, some which highlight her character, and others which seem to darken it. one always hears of amazing cats, with many different stories to go along with them, and they also hear about horrible cats, with absolutely horrid and terrifying track records, along with personalities that go with it, but this female is simply in the middle. she has stories to tell, yes, but not as interesting as some. she does have a heart, as hidden as it may seem, but it only takes a few times to chat with her to finally see her warm up towards you and relax.
one trait the she-cat has can either be considered negative or it can be considered positive, but whatever the given name, she is never sure what it is. she’s a very quiet and reserved female, not speaking unless spoken to, and certainly doesn’t like to be part of a conversation. she prefers to be alone, with the exception of a few, and likes time to think, which she gets a lot of, of course. she’s not the mean type of quiet; she’s more of the awkward, peaceful type. she doesn’t mind talking, but whenever she doesn’t, she even speaks quietly, and doesn’t say anything if she’s interrupted.
some say she’s shy, but she just says that she doesn’t like to be the center of attention. she used to love to live life in the spotlight, but now she stays away from it, as far away as she can. she tends to only have close friends, and finds it hard to make new friends. the female also doesn’t like to start or end up in the middle of arguments. even if she thinks her opinion matters in the slightest bit, she fears that if she speaks up, she will get yelled at, and so she stays quiet, and listens to whatever it is that goes on within her clan and friends.
as much as she has tried to control it, the female has a big temper. bigger than one would think, after meeting the quiet and reserved she-cat, but she does, and it has no plan to be removing itself from her personality any time soon. the reason she likes to stay out of many things is because, if she ends up talking, she will continue listening and sometimes end up really not liking a certain cat because of things said. she keeps her mouth closed almost always, but sometimes, her temper gets past her mind block, and she will yell.
Likes: hunting at night, listening; not talking, waking up early, staying up late, going to gatherings.
Dislikes: being the center of attention, hunting while the sun is the hottest, leafbare nights, too much rain.

History:
the female doesn't have that interesting of a history. she was born in the early stages of greenleaf, and it was a rather unexpected thing. her mother wasn't ready for kits, and they came early. kestrelfall and her brother were the two of the four to survive. the kitting took much too long, and by the end of it, the female's mother grew too weak to give her kits the needed nutrition, so they were taken to another queen who had also recently had kits. they didn't see much of their mother as young kits, but as she regained strength, she became a full part of their lives, fussing over them.
kestrelkit was always a daddy's girl. her mother fussed too much over her, and her brother was always quiet from the start. kestrelkit loved to talk and play, whereas her brother always stuck near her mother, where he knew he would be taken care of. the she-kit always got into much trouble, so much as to where the leader jokingly mentioned that her apprentice ceremony may be held back. that worried her, so she became a little bit more serious as her sixth moon approached.
when she was finally given her apprentice name, kestrelpaw, the female was quite excited. even though it was not allowed, the she-cat went out alone a lot of her time. her mentor wasn't the best when it came to getting up early, and so she found herself aimlessly wandering through the territory early in the morning. one very chilly, leaf-fall morning, the female was out and about and caught scent of something that sent chills down her spine. she raced back to camp, and although she didn't want to get caught for being out alone, she told an older warrior, who passed it on to the old leader.
they sent out a patrol, and ended up chasing off a dog.
kestrelpaw felt very proud of herself, and although she lost the priveledge to go out in the territory, even to hunt and train, she still was glad that she helped her clan in some way. she was in the spotlight after that, telling and re-telling her not-so-interesting story. she loved being in the middle of things, that was, until the day her parents left on a patrol and never came back. they were patrolling the riverclan border, a small group, when a border skirmish broke out. they were both pretty old warriors, but the group was bigger and they called for reinforcements when the windclan cats were ready to give up. her parents just couldn't handle it and died in the line of duty, which she was proud of.
the female never acted the same, knowing that not one, but both of her parents were in starclan. since then, the female sort of drifted away from her group of friends, beecoming a quiet, reserved cat. she finished up her few moons of apprenticeship without any complaints.

larkstar stepped quietly among the tall grass that surrounded her. the night was still, a few stars in the sky. most cats had gone off to bed, but the leader could not sleep. her heart beat quickly and her paws seemed to go where they wanted to go. thinking maybe hunting was the only option to calm her down, the female wandered off toward her favorite hunting spot where the grasses were long and towered over her lean frame. the air was thick with warm air, which seemed to smother the female, making it a little harder for her to breathe normally. clouds were gathering, and the stiff, forceful breeze that whipped through the flattened lands showed the leader that a storm was soon among them.
as much as she tried to think about choosing a deputy, each time the thought came around, the she-cat became to feel dizzy and flustered. there was so much to think about when it came to that topic. she needed a cat that was loyal, dedicated, and hard working, but she also wanted a cat that she knew well, which wasn't good, because she didn't exactly like to get very close with other cats. heart rate seeming to go up at the very thought, the she-cat brought the thought to the back of her mind and forced up the only thing she could think about; hunting. ears pricked and nostrils flared, the she-cat opened her mouth and tried to scent something beyond the muggy air that was forced into the female's lungs. she could only find the stale scent of rabbit, but it was something to follow.
frowning, larkstar ventured further and further from her favorite spot until the grass began to shorten. she knew where she was, but didn't feel comfortable right then and there. deciding to turn back was really the only thing the she-cat felt comfortable doing. she returned back to where the long grass covered her shape. breathing a sigh of relief, she sat herself down where the grass seemed to be the thickest. there was a frustrated glint in her eyes as she started to think about the choice of deputy. she was still young, and she believed she really needed some cat that she could trust. the thinking alone brought frustrated tears to her eyes, and the leader stumbled to her paws and paced.
pacing was what she did for the longest time, sometimes thinking about many things, and sometimes just listening to the noises around her. she began to grow tired, and looking up at the sky, the female noticed that it was late. the moon seemed to be at its highest, and the air just grew more and more thick and sticky with the heat and humidity. larkstar knew she needed to find something to bring back to camp, so once more she set off in a blind pursuit of rabbit. when she finally caught scent of something, the female slowed down, trying to get a good location on it. the chance that she would catch it at the time of night was slim, but it was a chance she wanted and needed to take.
bounding to her paws, the female raced in the direction where she heard a rabbit grazing quietly on grass. she managed to see the pure white of the fur and although she stumbled before her last jump, the leader grasped the rabbit in her claws and bit it a few times to ensure herself of the kill. her left hind leg throbbed but her heart pulsed with adrenaline. she sat down where she made the kill, breathing heavily, head lowered and shoulders sagging.
