Physical Description:

Glenpaw is certainly a very attractive she-cat, with her streaked fur and lithe body. Her ears sit at the top of her triangular head, above distinct head markings that go between them down her neck. Her eyes are slanted and often full of emotion or curiosity. Specks of gold swim in their moss green depths. Her medium length pelt is a mixture of browns, blacks, tans, and grays, all streaked together to form a camouflaged coat useful for hiding on the open moors. Only her paws are white. Her claws are mostly hidden, as sharp as her teeth, and ready to use in battle. Though not immediately visible, muscles run along her body, especially in her strong back legs, which come in handy when leaping to catch that bird or that just out of reach rabbit. Though Glenpaw may appear like a stunning cat, an ugly scar runs the length of her back leg, a twisted reminder of her mother. However, it is often covered by her fur or her long tail.

Personality:

Glenpaw can definately be a handful if she isn't handled right. Born naturally curious, Glenpaw loves to explore and have adventures, and her independant nature means that these little expeditions are often not approved by a superior before they occur. While training with her mentor, Glenpaw is enthusiastic and determined to prove that she will make a great warrior. Courageous and clever, she is extremely loyal to those she cares about. Her seemingly endless energy and headstrong attitude never fail to impress other cats. However, Glenpaw can be snappy and a little too determined at times, often becoming bossy or snobby. She can easily be calmed down by those who know her weak spot, however: a good story. Glenpaw is amazed and awed by tales of her ancestors and stories of the past. She can sit still and listen for hours to the elders, often forgetting about cleaning their moss or hunting for them. But her spunky and optimistic attitude leave them in no doubt that Glenpaw is a great cat to have around.

History:

Glenpaw was born to two cats of ShadowClan: Stormcloud and Darksong. Her father Stormcloud, a beloved tabby warrior, was killed shortly after she was born in a battle with a fox. Darksong, her mother, mourned her mate's loss, and took her anger out on Glenpaw (Glenkit at the time). One night while most cats were at the Gathering, her mother was driven to the point of insanity, and clawed her only daughter mercilessly. Helpless, Glenpaw could only cower on the ground as her mother vented her frustration. Eventually, Darksong turned and fled the camp. A few days later, her body was found on the edge of the territory, killed by the very fox who had claimed her mate.
Glenpaw was terrified by her helplessness on that day, and vowed never to be unable to protect herself again. From the day she first was apprenticed, she trained hard, determined to be the best warrior she could be.

As she became apprenticed to Hawkstar, the leader of ShadowClan, Glenpaw became even more determined to prove herself. She trained and fought hard, spending a lot of time in the elder's den, where she could be found listening to their tales. Glenpaw also became involved with Brittlebreeze, a young warrior, whom she grew close to and fell in love with. However, the position of medicine cat was offered to the white and orange tom, ending the relationship on a bitter note.
