Hunting for Prey

Icestar brought this up, and we'd like to see how everyone feels about this system. ;D

If either of the first two options win, I'll allow all of Starclan to participate in prey posting.

Also, if option 3 doesn't win, would you like us to continue posting pictures and mini stories about the prey? Or would you rather just receive species and/or numbers? (because I remember a while ago a member posted saying she felt very bad for the poor animals, hehe.)

I think a mix. Most of the time we make up our own, but StarClan can tell us if there is a shortage or an abundance.

I like how we make up our own prey. Cause if no Starclan people are on, we can't hunt.

I chose a mix. That way if no StarClan kitties are on we can just make up our own, but if they are we can PM them. =]

I think we should make our own. But they can still say 'there is a little prey this winter' otherwise it will seem like there is a bunch of rabbits running amuk during winter.

Quite true to what everyone said. I'm not saying anything in the poll-- I really don't mind anything, though personally I think I might go along with the mix like you all are saying.

I like it when you post pics and stories like that. tho i think most of the time it should be starclan but it could be any one

I think that we should have the mix. So that if there are no StarClan cats on then we can hunt, but if there are we have to PM them. I'm new to this so... Everynow and then it would be nice to get the pic and story just to make life interesting. Like I said I'm new so you can just disregard that if you want to.

Mix is good, but it would be hard for members to know who to pm. They can't memorize all the Starclan kitties. So, you know how you can make the leaders deputies and med cats names diff colors? Well I think you should make the Starclan kitties names A special color, so that members can just look down at the 'whos online' thing, and find the Starclan people to msg them.

I think the idea of PMing you when we want prey is a bad idea, you'd be constantly spammed with "I want prey"! However I beleive you making threads saying a simple statement such as something alike:

"Violetstar looked down from the stars as a young, plump mouse scurried out from the undergrowth, jaws parting as she whispered. 'Let the clans feed!'."

And then someone else could roleplay in that thread hunting the mouse, of course, it would require just a bit of twisting words, like changing "plump mouse" to maybe something like "scrawny vole".

I vote either that or mix, but I would hate the PM system -wrinkles nose-.
