Made up or Book Characters?

Well, at a lot of places there's been a dispute as to wheather it's better to roleplay characters from either a book or your own imagination. Which do you prefer to roleplay, and why?

Both, I like to make up cool names like: Flameshadow and Swingingstar but I also love the names: Brmableclaw, Squirrelpaw, and Ferncloud

I, too, like both I love making up my own charries, as it gives room for more imagination, but I couldn't leave Fireheart out, lol ;D I have grown quite attached to that fiery kitty! ^-^

I like to Role Play both, because I can create cool sounding names, but the names in the book are cool too. Like, Onewhisker, Bone and Scourge. Those I think those are brilliant!

I prefer making up my own characters, I too like making up names! and it's fun to make new personalities for them. Here are a few names I have used on Warriors RP: Frostflight, Tabbyrain, Blackdeath, Boulderclaw, Applestar, Maplemoon, Fragilefoot. LOL ;D

I sometimes like to use book characters. But I usually always make up my own. I voted for both ;D
