Silverwolf awoke in the Warrior Den. At first, everything was blurry, but after a minute, everything cleared up. She squinted at the bright light piercing through the cracks in the den, then her eyes finally adjusted. She sat up, stretched and yawned, then stood up. She must have been rolling around in her sleep a lot because her fur was very messy. She also spotted little dirt patches in some spots. Yuck! She thought to herself. As gross as it was, she began to lick herself clean. When her fur was all nice and shinny and soft, she stood up, shook, then began to leave the den.
It was a peaceful morning. Sure there was snow, but there was also sun. It seemed warmer today than it had the past couple of days. She closed her eyes, and pointed her nose up in the direction of the sun, embracing it's warmness. She wished every day could be like this; warm, peaceful, quiet. She exhaled, then opened her eyes again, and looked around the camp. As another warrior walked past her, she smiled her head and nodded, as if to say, 'Good Morning.' She began to feel hungry, but did not want to move from her spot in the sun. She didn't have any muse to go anywhere at the moment. Although, not too long later, hunger finally gave her the push she needed to get out of her spot, off of her butt, and go get something to eat.
Silverwolf found a nice plump sparrow on the pile. She didn't really like birds, but for some reason, she felt like trying this one this morning. Although, Silverwolf is a very picky cat, and cannot stand the texture of wings in her mouth, so she plucked each feather off of the bird, one by one, until they were all done. She wasn't sure how long it had taken her, but she knew it had taken so long. She was having one of those moments where you are so hungry you feel like you are going to throw up, but nothing will come out of your mouth. She ate up the bird in a matter of minutes, and felt refreshed. She was ready to get the day started. She stood up, and began to walk away, but stopped. She was walking to who-knows-where? She didn't even know where she was going. She stopped, and thought about what to do. She wasn't asked to go on any patrols, so she decided she would find someone who would want to go hunting with her out in the forest, or even just go for a simple walk.
She walked around the camp, looking for someone. Everyone seemed busy but she kept looking. She would not sit around the camp and do nothing all day! Then she spotted two apprentice's sharing the battle moves they had previously learned, and watched them for a moment as they tackled each other and play-fought. She smiled, and turned around to keep looking. She saw a cat who was alone, and walked over to it. She was about to say something when it walked away. She sighed. Silverwolf's hadn't made herself heard in time, and now she was off to find someone else.
Plumping herself down in the middle of the camp, Silverwolf decided to speak up. She didn't like raising her voice for lots to hear, but she wasn't going to give up and get fat by simply sitting around in the camp all day. "Does anyone want to go out hunting, or for a walk with me?" She called out. She was shaking now, nervous that she had been too loud, or too quiet, or would be given weird looks. All she wanted was a simple friend to talk to her, or say, 'Hey, let's go for a walk!' or something.

The morning was rather sweet; gentle and calm, a pleasant breeze trickling through the warriors' den. As her moonstones slowly fluttered open, her pale, slim silhouette shifted slightly, announcing her wake. Rolling gracefully onto her paws, she allowed a faint yawn to escape her jowls as she stretched, her image seeming almost altogether elegant. She rasped her tongue absentmindedly over her cool, alabaster pelt, cleaning it and adding a rather decent shine. Then she stepped out into the elements - the snow. And she practically blended in, her range of colors basically monochrome; gray eyes and white fur. Difficult to really locate in heavy snow if she remained still.
But the snow wasn't heavy; it was rather light, tranquil for the morning. And she wasn't remaining still; like the rest of the Clan, she was in motion, body working as she slowly began to completely wake up.
Her footfalls were silent but prominent, her presence obvious to the Clan who was completely accustomed to her nearly phantom-like appearance, beautiful yet eerily serene. But she never really put much thought into how she seemed; she merely was. She didn't attempt to seem this way or that way; her actions were instinctive or her own, not influenced or consciously made for a reputation. Beautiful or hideous, harsh or laid-back - however others saw her, she saw no need to pay attention to it. Not anymore.
However, others didn't appear to have that carefree atmosphere about them.
Exhibit A: Silverwolf.
The pallid female padded quietly past the bustling warriors and apprentices, who were preparing for the first to second patrols of the day. She never really thought much of the smaller - although not by much - female warrior; she never pitied or disliked or adored the fellow Clanmate. But frankly, the young huntress seemed to grow lonelier and lonelier, even more isolating. Even paranoid, or afraid. Fear of Clanmates wasn't a good sensation - nor helpful in any way.
Perhaps it was about time to take action.
'Does anyone want to go out hunting, or for a walk with me?' Her tone was rather quiet - soft and nervous, and as Snowstorm made her gentle way closer, she noticed that she was practically trembling. How tragic.. Even as a warrior, the petite silver she-cat was still conflicted within. The ivory warrior perambulated up to the sweetheart.
Although her exterior seemed cold, emotionless, there was a softness in her gaze; the way she held herself seemed rather intimidating - powerful. But her atmosphere was more tranquil, mellow, than anything. Her tail slightly flicked as her lobes twitched.
Blinking, she glanced the other in the cerulean optics. Perhaps that wasn't the best way to look at a shaking ally, but it was second nature to her; whenever she conversed, she looked them in the eye. And although her silver optics seemed roughly expressionless, their kindness was difficult to miss; "You would mind if I joined you?" she inquired, her tone as blank as her exterior - but behind the subconscious mask, there was a hint of caring. This wasn't a trick or a game; she was genuinely going to assist this she-cat out of her shell and into her comfort zone.
Well - only if she would allow it.

Silverwolf sat, still shaking a bit, in the middle of the camp. She was nervous, and she felt small, small like an ant, invisible and unnoticed by the rest of the world. Someone once told her that in evey Clan there was once cat who was a great cat who was one of the best cats in the Clan, but was quiet, unnoticed, and unappreciated. They said they thought she was that cat. Thinking about that made Silverwolf feel better, and she took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly, calmly, and continued for what seemed like an hour. She felt better now, not shaking as much, and not as nervous. Her mom had taught her how to take deep breats, and how long to hold them for when she was a kit. The thought of her parents made her feel warm and happy, yet sad inside.
As Silverwolf looked around to see if anyone had heard her call, she wasn't really sure if she was happy that no one had heard, or if she was upset that no one had heard. If someone heard her, they might think of her as odd, or give her strange looks, or maybe even laught at her or make fun of her. On the other hand, if no one had heard her, then she wouldn't have to worry about being embarrassed.
She caught something moving out of the corner of her eye that she just barely saw. It was white, so she must have just seen some snow flying around or something, so she simply ignored it. Silverwolf almost jumped out of her fur when she turned a minute later to see a white cat in front of her. "You would mind if I joined you?" She said.
So someone had heard her afterall. Silverwolf was happy to recognise Sowstorm, and that she wasn't being made fun of. At first Silverwolf didn't say anything, then finally, she responded, "Oh, no, not at all. Please, I'd love to get out of the camp and do something. Did you want to go out for a walk, or maybe a hunt?" Silverwolf secretly hoped that Snowstorm would want to hunt, because if they simply went for a walk, that would mean chatting more, and Silverwolf didn't usually chat with Snowstorm.
Silverwolf began to daydream about her parents. That one day when she made the biggest mistake of her life. As a kit, she ran out of the camp to explore ThunderClan territory. Some rogues came, and she thought she was going to die, but her parents were there looking for her, and managed to save her, and chase off the rogues. She remembered sitting there, bawling, watching both of her parents lying on the ground, taking their last couple of breaths, until she saw theirs pelts fall silent. Then the wolf came, howling, and glowing. It saw there for a while watching Silverwolf as she bowed her head. There were others patroling to look for her, and by the time they had found her, the wolf had left, and her parents were dead.
A cold breeze carrying fluffy snow blew past Silverwolf's face as she finished her thought, a tear sliding down her face. Every day she wanted to see her parents again, see them be proud of her, hear their voices. But she knew that someday when she joined StarClan, she would see her parents again.

When Silverwolf jumped, Snowstorm blinked for a moment, having obviously not intended to frighten the younger warrior. At least the recovery was swift.
'Oh, no, not at all. Please, I'd love to get out of the camp and do something,' the glimmer of a smile appeared within her silver gaze, even though no emotion tainted her fair, expressionless maw. It was good that she was able to keep her fellow Clanmate comfortable. 'Did you want to go out for a walk, or maybe a hunt?
Her lobes twitched ever so slightly again, and her sights ascended toward the skies. A short moment passed, and she pondered - then, she replied, "A hunt would be more suitable."
|
Honestly, she had nothing against a walk; as a matter of fact, they were rather pleasant. Then again, she had only taken walks with those she was close to, who currently no longer had time for such things. After all, it was leaf-bare; although her strolls were more quiet and the other speaking, hunting really would serve the Clan much better than merely socializing. Besides - Silverwolf never seemed like the talker type - and neither was she. Well - except for when she was with Lennox. In her entire life - even as a kit and an apprentice, she was never one to converse. Her family had been torn apart from the start, and the Clan truly doubted her blood. Her half - or even 'less loyal' - blood fueling plenty of mistrust and dislike from the rest of her Clanmates. How she had proven herself to them several times over was still mostly a mystery to her. But Lennox - with his sweet words and true love for her, especially proven after the clashing with Half-face - brought her to a warmer state in her mind. She was more tranquil, less cold. She could distinctly, very vividly recall how she felt before him; how she felt unneeded in the Clan, a soul that was merely there. And even when she met Half-face, things only improved faintly; after he and Lennox collided, after she was torn between the two, only then had she realized who was truly correct for her. When you love two, choose the second one - because if you really loved the first one - you wouldn't have fallen for anyone else.. And upon following that, she knew she had made the correct decision. Without him, she would probably not have bothered Silverwolf - probably would have even kept cold and almost bitter. Brushed her off. But, even while she missed the beloved ebony tom dearly, his soft, kind heart had awaken her own. A faint smile now creased the very tips of her lips, oh so very faintly. Slightly shaking herself, she returned to the present, almost chuckling within as she realized that the other she-cat had begun to daydream as well. At least there would be no need for explanations or embarrassment. Lightly flexing her paws, she took a few steps toward the entrance; with a light dip of the head to the silver tabby, she murmured softly, "Let us be off." » STATUS: finished! » TAGS: silverwolf! » COUNT: 518 words! » NOTES: no problem!

"wait, wait, wait. i want to come.."
|
he gave each feline a small dip of the head, but turned his gaze to ultimately have it resting on snowstorm. "we haven't talked much since my apprentice ceremony. we have a lot to talk about. maybe you two could assess my hunting skills? though i think i'm satisfactory enough for someone my age. maybe even more advanced," he mumbled boldly, puffing his chest out a bit. anything to gain leadership. anything to be just like his father. the apprentice loved basking in his new deeper voice, his strong hind legs from constant training, and his height. all great physical characteristics that would make him a memorable feline indeed. Silverwolf sat and listened to the breeze flow past her ears. She closed her eyes for a moment, and let in a deep breath. As she exhaled, Snowstorm said "Let us be off." She agreed, and nodded her head. As Silverwolf began to get up, she heard another voice from a distance calling out to them. She recognized Jasperpaw. He had become an apprenitce not to long ago. When he asked to come with them, Silverwolf looked at Snowstorm, shrugged, and said, "Of course you can. But you should probably make sure someone like your mentor knows your coming. We don't want the Clan to have a search party for you." She smiled.
Silverwolf stared off into the distance as She heard a noise from the bushes. She looked hard, and listened hard too. She sniffed the air, but the scent of other cats was too strong, and blocked out the other smells. She saw the Medicine Cat emerge from them, then let out a breath, knowing nothing was wrong.
Muse; Horrible! Words; don't know. Will find out later. Notes; I'm so sorry guies. I needed to respond, but my mom is yelling at me, and I only had like two minutes to come up with something. :(

Just as the alabaster femme turned away from the silver tabby who was beginning to stand, preparing to take steps toward the camp exit, a voice played at her sensitive eardrums; 'Wait, wait, wait.' her lobes subconsciously flicked, and she blinked quickly, turning toward the source.
Jasperpaw. How long had it been since they truly spent time together, other than mere lessons or a few hello-goodbyes? 'I want to come..'
|
A faint smile tingled at her maw. As the apprentice paused his footfalls and dipped his apex in respect, she returned the gesture. 'We haven't talked much since my apprentice ceremony. We have a lot to talk about.' Judging from the fact that his strong gaze rested mainly upon her, she figured this was toward her. Personally toward her. After all, she doubted he and Silverwolf had many personal moments together; it was she who remained with the apprentice when he was a kit, lonely after a ceremony. Then his attention split to the both of them; her moonstones flickered to the smaller she-cat, hoping his presence didn't cause unease. It wasn't that Jasperpaw was a troublesome Clanmate, it was that she seemed rather anti-social and shy. But the female was perfectly fine. 'Of course you can. But you should probably make sure someone like your mentor knows your coming. We don't want the Clan to have a search party for you.' Immediately after Silverwolf smiled, the pallid huntress's smile grew as well. Good - progress seemed quick and easy. The apprentice seemed even more excited now. 'Maybe you two could assess my hunting skills? though i think i'm satisfactory enough for someone my age. maybe even more advanced.' Ah, yes, the tom was as audacious as she remembered, if not a tad more. And how he had grown. She was proud, almost as if she were a mother of the tom. A light chuckle broke past her lips, faint like a breeze and melodic as a bird's song. Her smile had grown slightly larger now, very prominent despite it being nearly the same coloration as her elegant fur. "We shall see - but do not speak too boldly, my dear. We prefer not to have jealousy roam the Clan." She chuckled again, before flicking her tail, returning to her path toward the exit. Halfway through the entrance, Snowstorm paused, realizing that Silverwolf had paused and was focusing upon a rustling spot in the undergrowth. Being an expert among recognizing which scents belonged to which, she could tell that it was a feline, and an ally - although the specifics were blurred by the presence of other mingling scents. Still, she wasn't concerned - although she could tell the tabby was. She retraced a few steps, before the Medicine cat emerged and relieved the fellow feminine. Nodding to herself, the ivory she-cat turned again, leaving the camp. "Come along now." » STATUS: finished! » TAGS: silverwolf, jasperpaw! » COUNT: 488 words! » NOTES: the more the merrier; and gomen, gomen for the wait!

[bg=3F0002] Orange years pricked forward, amber eyes blinking. Stretching, the creamy orange tom got out of his nest and trotted over to the two warriors and apprentice. "May I join?" Fireblaze asked, his voice gentle. "I need to get out and hunt anyhow," he meowed, glancing from Silverwolf to Snowstorm to Jasperpaw, flicking his tail.
Sitting down, the orange tom licked his chest, blinking sleep from his eyes still. "Sorry if I startled any of you," he meowed, wondering if he did scare anyone. Realizing the patrol was leaving he scrambled to his paws and started to follow, his orange pelt mixing with the forest background.

"anyway, i caught a fish yesterday! but i had to return it. because emberflare said that it was considered stealing. though, i disagree. the river is one of nature's creation. not riverclan in particular. but, i did as i was told. shocker, right? i was just happy i could nab one. i'm hoping i can go for a rabbit one day. or a frog. but, that would be trespassing. which isn't right."[/div]

A small black ball of fluff grumbled as she tossed in her moss bedding. She couldn't sleep any longer, as much as she tired. Everything has been so uneasy in the forest with the weather changes, and the tension between cats. She felt it in the air, as the apprentices trained. It was almost if the world was shifting, and everyone was training to kill instead.
Just the other day Ecliipseheart was out walking around to find prey, and two apprentices pushed each other too far. The two of them scrambled to get a blow on each other to the point they were both bleeding very heavily. She had to run over and break the scuffle up, and take them to Fadedstorm, whom was not thrilled that the two of them were fidgety.
She sighed and pushed herself to her paws. Her light green orbs were glowing with a hint of tiredness. The younger warrior was indeed suffering a great deal of lack of sleep. All she wanted to do was curl back up in her den, but even then she couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep soundly. Her limbs ached from the cold, and now it was a bit warmer. As thick as her coat was, she just didn't have the padding the other cats did to keep warm.
As she stepped out of the den, she recognized a familiar face. It was her old mentor, Silverwolf. She smiled brightly at the she-cat, and padded over to the group that surrounded her. Emberflare was sitting there, along with Snowstorm, Jasperpaw, and Fireblaze. She smiled and meowed, "Greetings everyone. How was everyone's dreams?" It seemed like a nice day to ask such a question.
Eclipseheart had always been a very shy, small she-cat. She never really had any feelings towards male cats, and enjoyed the company of her adopted kin, Lilysong. Lilysong and Eclipseheart were close, and almost impossible to take apart. It was a weird bond, that they grew into.Eclipseheart, had always thought of Lilysong as her sister. It was just natural with how close they really were.
As she snapped back into reality, her green orbs were glowing with happiness. As much as the young she-cat had went through, she was still a very happy warrior. She loved to help the clan, and to get to know her clan mates.
