Gender: Tom
Clan: ShadowClan

________________________________________________________________

Previous Names: Dark-kit
________________________________________________________________
One Sentence Description: a cream colored tom with dark point colored markings and blue eyes.
Appearance:Darkpaw looks a lot likes his uncle more than anyone else. His colors could be described as point because they are on the points of his body. His body is cream in color with brown on his face, ears, paws and tail. On his face and tail there are darker tabby-like stripes. The fur itself is short to medium in length but leaning toward the shorter side. It is thick, providing a good winter coat while in summer it is shed out to let he be cooler. He has very small tufffs of fur sticking up from the top of his ears but when groomed down it is barely noticeable. His tail fur likes to stick up a lot making it look fluffier than it actually is. The color of the pads on his feet match his dark down nose. His white whiskers and eyebrow whiskers are long and very noticeable against his dark face.
He is more or less build like his father. He is about average height with sturdy muscular legs and broad shoulders. He isn't quite grown into his adult body yet, but he is still an apprentice. His paws are large, giving him alright grip on the marshy ground of ShadowClan. Because he hasn't fully developed his muscular body that he'll have when he's an adult, Darkpaw has time to adjust to the difference in power that he can obtain. He will be no stronger than the average ShadowClan tom, but he is going to be a bulky cat.
Darkpaw's eyes are the same color as his mother's, blue. They are beautiful and some-what stunning to look at. They give him a bit of an innocent look to him but that may change as he ages. They are large, round and pull in the light nicely. They portray his emotions very well, which Darkpaw hasn't been able to figure out how to control yet.

Personality:In front of others from a different Clan, Darkpaw is rude, bold and a complete jerk. Her wants to seem like a tough guy, like nothing can touch him. He is quick to act and would attack before thinking in any situation dealing with the other Clans. Some would say he is the stereo typical ShadowClan tom but that is a front to protect himself from any weakness others might see. He isn't friendly towards anyone outside his Clan but he would never kill anyone unless they threatened his Clanmates' lives. That's the thing though, he can talk the talk but he would never finish 'the job' even if he was given the chance to.
In front of his Clan he is a little bit of both sides, he respects his leader and everyone who outranks him but he can be snarly at times. He has a bit of an angry issue but he tries his best to control it. Darkpaw is a bit of a control freak too, always telling the other apprentices what to do and how to do it right. He will back off but not until someone snaps at him. He's the type to not let things go too often. If he sees something funny happen to someone he will tell everyone and continue to make fun of them.
But if you are lucky enough to see his softer side you'll see that Darkpaw can actually be a caring and funny tom. He likes to win the girls over with laughter and playfulness. He isn't a very romantic tom but everyone has their different views on what romance is. That is basically his way of flirting. He doesn't really think about his future too much. He knows he wants to be the best warrior ShadowClan has ever seen but he doesn't think about the family he might have when he's older. He's only an apprentice and right now it is his Clan that he cares about the most. He still has a lot of growing up to do.

History:Darkpaw was born to two ShadowClan cats, obviously. He was born into a litter of three kits, him being on of the three. He has two other brothers and all of them were very different from each other. Darkpaw always put up a tough guy front and pushed his brothers around while his one brother was more reserved and level headed then him. His last brother was a bit of a scatterbrain and all over the place. He wasn't dumb, just had too much going on that he couldn't concentrate on much for too long. Darkpaw may not have gotten along with them too well but they were all brothers and would get along together every once in awhile. At night they could be seen snuggling up against one another for warmth and security. They had a typical brother to brother relationship. As kits they would all play, fight, explore and more often than not, get into trouble together. Darkpaw was the more daring one. always wanting to explore outside of the camp. But his brothers were usually more cautious. It never stopped Darkpaw from attempting to leave the camp though. His brothers would only follow in fear that if they didn't go Darkpaw might get himself in trouble and have no one to help him.
When their apprenticeship rolled around, they all seemed to mature a little more. Even Darkpaw kept himself in line and didn't attempt to leave the camp alone as much. He was a little stubborn at first with his mentor, not wanting to listen and thinking he could do everything as good as the warriors could, but he came around. Still though, he thinks he is the boss of everyone and thinks he can do everything the best. He tries to show off to everyone around him which usually ends in failure.
He doesn't have much of a history as not much has happened to him. But more will be added the more I roleplay with him.
IC Example:How was it that he got stuck staying within the nursery all the time? It wasn't fair that his siblings were allowed to do the things he wasn't allowed to do. Just because he couldn't see didn't mean he couldn't take care of himself. Besides, as long as Pouncekit stayed beside him nothing would happen right? No, Coalkit understood his mother's fear but wish she would just give him a chance to be a normal kit. Coalkit wanted to run and jump and chase things too. Wouldn't he learn how to do things on his own if everyone just stopped fussing over him? Coalkit had a head full of questions but kept his mouth closed as he didn't want to make the situation worse.
He was a quiet kit from the start and everyone probably guessed that he wouldn't be able to become a warrior. But Coalkit was determined to show everyone that he was fine and could hold his own. While his eyes could not see all his other senses have made up for it. He could hear better and smell better, but even so, Coalkit still needed the guidance of his brother, Pouncekit, to help him along.
With a short sigh, Coalkit felt his way out of the nursery and called out to his brother, "Pouncekit! Pouncekit! Can you come help me?" Coalkit perked his ears up and tried to listen to see is his brother had heard him. The noise around the camp was loud enough that if his brother did hear him, Coalkit couldn't tell. He heard the sound of warriors chatting around the camp, "How's the prey running?", "Hunting patrol is about to leave! Let's go!" and "This has got to be the best sunbathing rock around!". Sometimes, Coalkit wished he couldn't hear so well. He would trade half of all his other senses just to be able to see out of at least one eye.
Coalkit sat down outside of the nursery hoping Pouncekit had heard him. He turned his head to the sky but could see nothing. The best he could tell is that it was close to sunhigh or maybe it was just after. Only thing that Coalkit could tell the difference between with his eyes but how bright or dark it was. As odd as it sounds, Coalkit made a game out of it one day. He would tell when he might run into things when it got darker. But even with this game, Coalkit still ran into and tripped over things. Most of the time, if no one saw, he would just get right back up and continue going. He didn't like worrying anyone when there was nothing to worry about.
