One Sentence Description:
long furred dusty gray she-cat with auburn eyes
Appearance:
--> Strong
The build of this she-cat is unlike others. She is not in any way lithe, nor dainty. She is built like a tomcat, only with softer features. Petalwhisper is not too wide through the shoulders, so she does not have a bulky look to her. But the width of her shoulders, adds strength to her front end, and with powerful front legs, she is a force to be reckoned with. Now, her neck, though covered with fur, is muscular and thick, along with her back and haunches. She does have long and lean muscles, but hers show more under her pelt. Her hind end is also strong, though an old battle injury takes away from the strength of her left hind leg. Her paws are smaller in comparison to the rest of her body, but they are widely set, distributing her weight evenly. Her long tail helps to keep her thickly set body in proper balance as she maneuvers herself through the territory.
--> Long thick pelt
Blessed with a long pelt, Petalwhisper has her paws full with keeping it clean and knot free. Though the attempts to clean it are in vain, all the fish she consumes keeps it sleek and healthy looking. Her pelt is predominately dark grey, and where the fur has been ripped away due to battle, you can see the ash grey very clearly. Her top coat is a dusty gray, with lighter gray running throughout it. During Greenleaf, the lighter shades of gray are more visible. On the she-cats back, there are tinges of deep honey brown, also stretching down into her long tail. The fur on her legs is shorter then on her body, naturally. It wraps around her legs and leaves wispy hairs on the backsides of her long legs, showing the muscles and defining them. Petalwhisper’s face holds dark grey tabby markings around and between her round auburn eyes. The she-cats chin is white, along with her whiskers. The hair on her neck, frames her face like a lions mane.

Personality:
--> Soft spoken
Ever since this cat was a small kit, she always spoke softly. She told everyone who would ask why she would speak so quietly that only the ones that wanted to listen would be able to hear her. She seen absolutely no use for talking loud, therefore she does not. Not even in tense situations, her voice never reaches a yell, barely raises louder than a whisper. In the rare cases when she gets angry, her voice actually gets fairly quiet, but loud enough to definitely be heard. Her tone changes slightly, threatening. In other words, she is one of those cats who are a quiet mad. They don’t act it, but everyone around them knows to bugger off.
--> Selfless && Compassionate
Selfish is one word that would be not be used to describe Petalwhisper. Soft though she is, she would never put herself before another cat. If there is a cat in need and Petalwhisper catches wind of it, she will go out of her way to help them in any way she can. She doesn’t like it when she isn’t able to help because then she feels she has failed, but she absolutely refuses to wallow in self-pity. Instead, she goes and does something that needs to be done. The compassion this cat holds is endless. She also carries sympathy with her proudly, and she forgives those who have wronged when no one else will. She holds ample amounts of love in her heart and has no problems with sharing it generously.
--> Narrow-minded && Stubborn
Her biggest personality flaw. Though she is a very optimistic and caring creature, she has a strict idea of how things should be done and it is hard to show her otherwise. She believes strongly in the Warrior Code and lives and breathes every law. She does not believe in making exceptions and frowns upon anything that goes against it. She thinks that issues should be talked out, not fought out. And she will argue this point, calmly and dismiss it with a snarl if shot down. Her world is very much so painted in black and white with little variation.

History:
The small gray kitten breathed her first breath on a chilly day in leaf-fall just minutes after her older sister was brought into this world with a broken neck. The wailings of her mother, Duskflower, could be heard throughout the camp, both over her dead kitten the terrible haemorrhaging that was raging on inside her tiny body.
Two kittens were all the lithe she-cat bore. And not long after, the two kittens were the cause of the young she-cats death. Cold and mewling like crazy, the little kit lay on the floor of the nursery seeking warmth. Another queen with a small litter of her own swiftly took the kit upon request of the medicine cat and thus started the journey of Petalkit, daughter of the late Duskflower and the now grieving proud tom, Kindleflight.
It was noted from a young age that Petalwhisper was a kind cat with a big heart, always willing to help anyone that needed her assistance. Also, noticed was her soft way of speaking, very calm, quiet and reassured was the way of her speech. The leader might think this would change with age, however it did not, more unusual, but it was the way of the little cat. The secret of why her littermates were larger then her made her ask questions, until she got the answer. Naturally she was saddened by the fact that she would never know her mother, but the queen who had raised her told her this: “better to never know then to love and lose.” Petalwhisper ignored this statement for a couple days as she tried to think of what her birth mother was like but it was no use and only caused her pain and longing to know the cat that was so young and loved. Her outlook on life changed for a little while.
As her sixth moon rolled around, Petalkit started to get cheerier, and not as down in the dumps. At her young age, she realized cats didn’t like to be around sad cats, and one of the things she treasured was the company of her Clan. Slowly, but surely, she became happier, and more optimistic. These ideas were reassured and brightened when she was given her mentor, a cat she had grown fond of, one who had not put up with her whininess. And so, the training period commenced.
IC Example:
Everyday seemed to stay the same recently. Busy cats in and out of the camp, preparing for the ominous leaf-bare that was creeping upon the forest. It was always a sad day in camp when the cats rose to the smell of cold and the startling sting of first frost on their pads. Petalwhisper was no exception to the sadness that leaf-bare brought. But it was just like anything else controlled by starclan, you couldn't change it. It was needed to keep life within the clans stable. Even so, she wished that they would have milder ones so that they would lose less herbs and less cats to deaths grasp. The long furred she rolled onto her stomach and with a light heart and heavy eye lids, rose to her large paws and with a quick shake of her pelt stepped out of the den into the heart of the clan.
The bright autumn sun blinded her momentarily before she was able to regain her sense of where and when. The scents of her Clanmates filled her nostrils, and slowly she was able to open her eyes without squinting. With a glance to the fresh-kill pile, she debated about whether or not she needed something to eat now or if it could wait. prey was growing scarcer and she was stronger than most, definitely stronger than the elders and kits. With that thought in mind, she pushed the feeling of hunger from her bustling mind and indulged herself in a futile attempt at cleaning her moss matted pelt. the morning cleaning was always the worst for the pretty she-cat. The moss from her nest never ceased to get tangled in every possible way in her coat. so every morning she was subject to the task of grooming it out to the best of her ability. But most of the time she just gave up after the first few licks. today however, was going to be different. Swiping her tongue down her chest fur she cleaned with a fierce determination to actually clean her pelt for good.
