One Sentence Description: a long haired brown and white she-cat with frosty blue eyes
Appearance:Thick and luscious is how I would describe Hazelpaw's fur. It's long and so very easily matted. Grooming takes up most of her free time. Her main color is white while all her markings are an extremely dark brown. Often she looks black and white instead of brown and white. Around her eyes looks like as if she has eyeliner on. Two almost triangular markings point away from her face. On the left side of her face just under her eye is a dark brown patch of fur. Her nose is dark brown - almost black as well. On her right ear is a large white patch that goes almost half way down to the middle of her neck. And her back legs are white.
Under her thick coat are muscles far beyond what anyone believes she has. Some blame her bigger looks on the amount of fur she has but in reality it is muscle. She is average in height and when sat next to another she-cat she looks no different. Only her bulkiness makes her stand out. Her back legs are slightly longer than her front making it a little easier for her to jump than others. Her tail though isn't as long as one would think. She was born with half a tail but it doesn't affect how she moves or balances.
Hazelpaw's eyes are a beautiful frosty blue. Her eyes are large and round but look small against her somewhat triangular face. They are bright in both the dark and light. She is somewhat blind, she can't see things far away but close up everything is clear. It isn't as bad as it seems and she is learning to adapt to it since becoming an apprentice.

Personality:She likes to be creative in what she does. Because she is can’t see far away she has to think of different ways to do certain things. Hunting is a challenge and she easily scares prey away. So she has learning how to be quieter and to cover her white fur with mud, in green-leaf, before stalking prey. While on patrols she has learned how to use her ears more than her eyes. She doesn't have super hearing or anything; she just can sometimes block things out in order to hear other things.
Hazelpaw is curious. She’ll be the first to try a new food or fighting/hunting move before another probably would. With this curiosity of hers she can sometimes stick her nose into places that it doesn’t belong. Even if she doesn’t ask someone directly she’ll often get the information from someone else. She’s not gossipy though. She just likes to know things. She’d make a great medicine cat because of her thirst for knowledge but it isn’t the path for her. She never wanted the confined life of a medicine cat. But she has always found it fascinating. If she has a question she’ll ask without hesitation. Sometimes it’s good, sometimes it’s bad. But if a cat doesn’t want to talk about it or doesn’t want to tell her Hazelpaw will ask another cat till she can get some answers. But sometimes will give up or let it go.
She’s very out-going and rarely shy around others – including toms. Though, she doesn’t tend to get along with other she-cats too well. She is the type to place labels on others by first impressions. First impressions are everything to Hazelpaw. She thinks most she-cats are gossipy and not down-to-earth like some of the toms she knows. Though, she also stereo types tom too, mostly by their looks more than anything. She’s not too friendly to outsiders, something she lacks from her ThunderClan heritage. But if they make a good first impression it won’t take much to win her over. She tires to be friendly though, giving almost everyone the benefit of a doubt.

History:When everything was calm in ThunderClan, nothing seemed to be stirring; a cry from inside the nursery awoke half the Clan. It sounded as if a Queen was dying but in reality she was having her kits. Mintleaf was having her first litter of kits. Her mate, Molefang came rushing to her side. He didn’t want to miss anything. Although he was pushed out of the den, Molefang felt his excitement rise. Mintleaf had given birth to two healthy kits. They decided to name one Hazelkit because of the brown in her fur while they named the other Sagekit because of his silvery markings.
Hazelpaw’s kithood was exciting and filled with the usual kithood adventures. She didn’t much like listening to the elders like her brother, Sagekit, but she did have the typical curiosity of a kit. She liked exploring around the camp and rarely left it because she wanted to make sure she knew every tail length of the camp before she stepped outside. Yes she got into trouble and yes she said the usually silly things kits say but she had her own odd little quirks too. But still no one could really agree on how she was going to be as an apprentice or warrior.
Apprenticeship gave Hazelpaw the chance to expand her knowledge and her legs. She loved exploring outside of the camp now that she was too big to fit into the kit size holes along the camp wall. But it was during her apprenticeship that they discovered that Hazelpaw had vision problems. It wasn't like she couldn't see, because she could. It was that she couldn't see long distances away like the rest of the Clan. She could see perfectly close up but everything further away was blurry. It was strange but Hazelpaw didn't know any different. She struggles with hunting but manages to get the slower prey fine. She's still trying to get the hang of hunting and judging the battle moves. She's adjusting but slowly.
