The Meeting
Deathclaw, a loner, and Midnighthowl, a ShadowClan warrior, meet in the Marsh to plot their attack on the Clans. Smallclaw, another ShadowClan warrior, stumbles upon their small gathering and quickly learns of their malicious intent. Though the encounter quickly turns dangerous for the black tom, Smallclaw chooses to strike up a deal with Midnighthowl. If she agrees to kill Dawnstar for him, the result of an old vendetta, then he will not forewarn the Clans of their dark agenda. [complete]
The Ceremony
Days later, during his medicine cat ceremony, Brittlebreeze is inducted by StarClan and introduced, for the first time, to his long dead father Iceclaw. However, the reunion is interrupted when Iceclaw implies that a threat is lying in wait, and that the Clans only have a short amount of time before it springs. The StarClan warrior also tells Brittlebreeze that its source lies in ShadowClan, the place of the calico tom’s birth. Alarmed, Brittlebreeze awakens and returns quickly to camp. [complete]
The Warning
Upon returning to ShadowClan camp, Brittlebreeze immediately passes on Iceclaw’s warning to Hawkstar. While the news of an imminent attack is troubling, ShadowClan’s leader is most disturbed by what the other aspect of the prophecy implies--- there is a traitor within ShadowClan. Despite the danger, Hawkstar instructs his new medicine cat to tell no one of the prophecy. At least not yet; an interrogation would only turn their Clan mates against one another. Instead, Hawkstar and Brittlebreeze turn their focus elsewhere; they must decipher the twoleg part of the prophecy, before it’s too late. Though they themselves don’t know what it means, Hawkstar knows a cat that might be able to help them. That’s if they can find him. [complete]
The Reunion
At the barn that lies beyond WindClan territory, two mates reunite after a period of being apart. Wildtalon and Scorn, two loners that feel only joy at being together after so long, are soon interrupted by an uninvited guest—a nervous, rangy rogue by the name of Tobias. Having returned to the forest from one of his many time consuming migrations, the silver tom is looking for a place to sleep and eat. Mistaking him for a threat, Wildtalon attacks, only to pull away when he recognizes their old friend (despite not getting the same in return). Despite having no recollection of their first meeting, Tobias calms down, and ask for the news of the forest. After all, it’s been a while. Little does he know that he will yet again be needed by ShadowClan. [in progress]
The Dream
After a disastrous battle between ShadowClan and ThunderClan that left several cats wounded days ago, Ravenpelt, a ShadowClan warrior, lies unconscious in the medicine cat's den. Her recently acknowledged mate, Smallclaw, who encountered Midnighthowl and Deathclaw at Carrionplace not long before, sits with her and waits for her to return. However, upon falling asleep beside her, the two young warriors are plunged into the same dream, and soon bear witness to Brittlebreeze's medicine cat ceremony. Now knowing the troubling prophecy that Hawkstar and Brittlebreeze had decided to keep secret from the rest of ShadowClan, Smallclaw is faced with a decision. Does he come forward with what he knows, or keep his deal with Midnighthowl? Later, Brittlebreeze enters with a question for Ravenpelt. [in progress]

A border fight breaks out between WindClan and RiverClan, capping tensions between the rival groups. WindClan's deputy, Greencloud, is killed. [in progress]
