tell the devil i say hey, when you get back to where you're from. the gray she-cat moved, her ice blue eyes flashing in the moonlight. the breeze was quite warm for once, and her paws were light and soundless. she crept around the big rock, her claws scratching it every now and then. her face was blank, no hatred was in her eyes.
it was more of a grief stricken expression on her face. it was the first time that she allowed herself to appear weak. she let her guard down and let the feelings and guilt wipe her off of her feet.
she felt remorse and sadness. and so bad that she took so many lives of other cats, and she doubted herself. why would she want to live this life? the life of a rogue? of blood and murder?
where would she go after she died?
she used to believe in starclan. she used to be such a good warrior. such a good shadowclan warrior. but that all changed with a stupid stupid mistake.
the thought of her past hardened her eyes. her claws sank into the cold ground and her fur fluffed up. a sound was heard from behind her, and she turned her gray head. her blue eyes pierced and she snarled.
who's there?

. a s p e n p a w . your out of time, left to watch it all unwind
inquisitive paws lightly danced themselves out of camp. he was extremely eager to be out of camp, after all this was the first time in a while he'd been actually alone. not like in his den alone, becuase that normally meant that brittlebreeze was there as well, or some sick patient. the smell of fresh air exhillerated the young orange and white tom, to the point where he broke into a run for a short period of time. how good it felt to stretch his legs....
remember why you're out here in the first place a voice in his head reminded him, and aspenpaw slowed to a stop. herbs! he thought, immediately opening his mouth into and inhaling deeply to catch the scent of any herbs near by. none that he needed jumped out at him, and brittlebreeze had told him that the herbs needed lied closer to fourtrees anyway. so he continued onwards, at a brisk pace, before he saw the familiar four great oaks in the distance.
at that moment he saw a gray she-cat, facing away from him. inhaling quietly aspenpaw tried to pinpoint what clan she may be from. thats weird, he thought, panic rising like bile in his throat. i dont recognize any clan scent his green eyes shone for a moment as he got an uneasy feeling in his stomach. he couldn't confront a rogue, or kittypet or whatever this she-cat was! he hadn't been trained to fight! heck, he hadn't even been trained to hunt. she hasn't seen you yet, he thought trying to calm himself down. just back away, go back to camp, he took a pawstep backward, right onto a fallen twig.
the gray she-cat whipped around. who's there? she snarled, eyes narrowed. aspenpaw gulped, before stepping cautiously out of his cover. er...hi? he tried, muscles tense.

ivytail--You wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me?;
-x-x- As Ivytail stepped out of the warriors den, she had only two thoughts on her mind: to get out of the camp and find some place nice to just...relax. It had been a busy day, and she had wore herself out hunting and doing everything she could to assist her Clan. She decided she could do a solo patrol and just scope around the territory and make sure none of the other Clans were up to their sneaky tricks. She slipped out of the camp and jumped into the water that surrounded it. The chilly water seeped through her fur, but before it got too cold, she jumped out. Sniffing the air, she padded through the snow silently.
Ivytail was making some good progress, she was almost to fourtrees and she was plotting out the loop back home in her head. At first, she didn't notice the strange scents, as it was a place were cats gathered from all four clans. But when the stench of carrion hit her nose, she froze. Now becoming more aware to where her paws led her, she slunk around the four great oaks. A bird soared overhead and she glanced up, still walking. By the time she looked back down she was in the center, watching two cats.
It was a ShadowClan cat and a rogue, it seemed. The ShadowClan apprentice seemed tense, and the she-cat did to. Not wanting to be caught off guard, Her teeth bared, she flicked her tail and waited for something to happen.

mad woman, man woman, that's what you are. you'll smile to my face, and rip the breaks right of my car. er... hi?
the cat tried saying, his muscles tense. he was still small, an apprentice. shadowclan apprentice. how convenient. wonder how her birth clan was doing. before she could say anything, another scent flew into her nose. riverclan.
her blue eyes searched around, and saw a flick of a tail and bared teeth. skye let our a mrrow of laughter while looking at the riverclan cat. she was big enough to be a warrior. if she were to pick a fight, it was to be with the riverclan cat, not the apprentice.
besides. she still had some mixed feelings towards shadowclan, but honestly didn't care much for cats who loved the river. she said in a milky sweet voice, oh, hello riverclan warrior. she turned her head quickly towards the apprentice and then back to the warrior and shadowclan apprentice.
her eyes danced in the moonlight, a blue flame was burning inside of them. her voice was sweet, like strawberries, but her eyes were the exact opposite of that. they were cold. ice blue. if looks could kill, those cats around her would be dead by now.
i want no trouble.
lie.
i was just wandering here. this is a good place for me to think. it's so beautiful and calming. and it gives me memories of my past.
white lie. she was here on purpose, to run into a cat. she itched for a good fight, but she wasn't going to attack right away. she was smart, coy, great with words. she liked messing around with other's heads and emotions.
i'm skye. what would your names be?
her voice remained steady, layered with gentle curiosity. it was kind and sweet enough. she relaxed her muscles for good measure as well. her claws no longer dug into the ground and her tail flicked. she seemed completely friendly and at ease.
acting was never a problem for her. that's why you could never trust any cat's words. you never knew how many great actors there were out there. for the truth, you had to look into cat's eyes. it reveals everything.
her eyes were sparkling and cold. they pierced through the dark night and contrasted with all of her words and actions. they were hard, hostile, and dancing in the moonlight. the angry fire inside of them was obvious. the question was, what would the two clan cats do?
believe her. or were they smart enough to not let their guards down at once?
a smile grew on her lips. oh, what great fun she'd have tonight.
