ivytail--You wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me?;
-x-x- The wind gently rolled over the forest, leaving behind no trace of it's presence. It swirled through the snow, leaving a frosty feeling in the crisp air. A raven soared above the trees, scanning the ground for anything dead to eat. In the center of the willow trees, it spotted a small shape was pushing through the snow. It seemed to pause for a moment, but then continued in its path. The raven, now curious, spotted a branch and quickly landed on it. From here, it could see that this shape was a cat. A silver cat with a black tail and ears, and very green eyes. Suddenly, the cat noticed the raven, and without warning it leaped out at it with outstretched claws.
Ivytail cursed as she landed empty pawed, and watched as the raven fluttered away. Almost everything she had hunted today and escaped from her, as if StarClan had wanted her to go back to a hungry Clan with no food. She sighed and then moved forward in her path. She turned in the direction of the river, hopping that it would be home to more hungry prey. She was praying that the river had not frozen over, because if it did that would give her Clan a thousand more things to worry about. Not knowing what the future would hold, she dropped her tail down in near defeat, and trudged through the snow.
As she climbed through the willow trees and heard the rushing of the river, that plump raven was still on her mind. If she had paid more attention, she would have caught it and fed half the Clan. Flicking her tail, she sniffed the air. As always, her hope had brought her no good luck. Instead of any traces of prey scent, ThunderClan scent was everywhere. She glanced around and noticed foot prints in the snow. Suddenly becoming angry, she followed them briskly.
The tracks led her to a clearing in the willow trees, and she noticed a she-cat. A ThunderClan she-cat. Ivytail crept slowly so she was just behind her. Pushing with her powerful back legs, she leapt into the air, snarling. With luck she would land right ontop of the ThunderClanner and knock the wind out of her.

Petalwhisper you take my breath away; you’re a super nova
---- A couple of minutes were spent on hunting, a few more on thinking, and a dozen more on pure horror when she realized that she had crossed the border and she was no longer surrounded by the comforting smells of the forest and her Clan . Somehow, in her pursuit of the vole, Petalwhisper had managed to skim the river, and wind up in the heart of a rival territory. RiverClan to boot! As of right now they were on good terms but not every cat liked finding themselves on enemy land. But maybe that was just her. And being the cat she was, she was immediately worried about what or who was going to find her.
So far she had been pretty darn luck with no cats showing up yet, but it was only a matter of time before a hunting or border patrol was sent around. Surely she wasn’t that far into their territory? She had only been running for a few moments, she could’ve sworn it. But maybe she was mistaken, maybe she had been chasing the vole for linger than she thought. Never had she crossed the border while hunting. That was an apprentice mistake not a proud warriors! Hot embarrassment caressed her skin making her squrm and pull her head out of the clouds and figure out which way she had came so she could get off RiverClan land before any of their smelly cats could find her.
Pulling herself up to her full stance she was just about to turn around and take a gander at the opposite direction when she heard a snarl and managed to skid out of the way slightly, but not completely before a blur of silver and black connected with her shoulder staggering her and knocking the wits out of her. So much for getting off their territory scotch free! Backing up, Petalwhisper curled her lip at the RiverClanner, but her stance was nowhere near hostile. She was in the wrong and she knew it too. The cat in front of her had every right to give her a good smacking, okay, maybe not that harsh, but the story of the ThunderClan cat Petalwhisper chilling out on RiverClan territory could travel very fast if heard by the wrong ears.
Taking another step back, Petalwhisper slipped back lowering herself, but completely to the ground to show that she was relatively submissive to the she-cat in front of her. The gray she-cat was in no way scared of the scrawny little cat standing before her, but she had enough sense to know that at anytime, the rest of a patrol could come through and rip her a new one. Pulling her ears back, but lip still curled, the she-cat spoke.
“Hello. I was just leaving. No need for you to attack me. I made a mistake, now please escort me back to ThunderClan if you may.” Though spoken in nothing more than a whisper, Petalwhisper hoped that some form of respect or hell even authority touched her words and hopefully the she-cat knew well enough not to mess with a cat bigger than her. But even the smaller built warriors could prove to be a nasty opponent in battle. Petalwhisper held onto the flicker of doubt that had sparked in the back of her mind.

ivytail--You wanna know, know that it doesn't hurt me?;
-x-x- Ivytail slammed into the trespasser's shoulder, causing the other she-cat to stagger backwards. Her eyes blazed with the thrill of the fight and she prepared for whatever the cat would do to defend herself. With a flicker of doubt, Ivy realized how much bigger the she-cat actually was. Pushing the negative thoughts away, she focused back to the she-cat, knowing that she would do whatever it took to defend her Clan. But, instead of swiping back at Ivy or trying to run, she lowered herself into a slightly submissive pose. So...she knows she did something bad...but she still is pretty far into our territory...
While Ivy puzzled over this, the cat spoke, 'Hello. I was just leaving. No need for you to attack me. I made a mistake, now please escort me back to ThunderClan if you may.' Ivytail curled her lip and narrowed her eyes. Was this she-cat trying to show authority? Not when your this deep into enemy territory! If it had been any other day, Ivytail might have been feeling better, but she was tired and hungry, and couldn't get a starving Clan out of her mind. Still...this she-cat seemed to be slightly polite. At least the way she worded it.
Relaxing, just slightly, Ivytail stared hard at the intruder, her green eyes blazing with anger. 'I thought ThunderClan warriors weren't stupid! How do you get into enemy territory without noticing?' Ivy glared coldly, and then she suddenly realized, maybe this cat was going to lead an invasion! It could be possible, but not wanting to run back to camp telling false stories, Ivytail decided she would wait before she jumped to something like that. 'How can I know you aren't going to go back to camp and gather an invasion?' She could be over reacting, but she just wanted to be through.

Petalwhisper you take my breath away; you’re a super nova
---- Petalwhisper wasn't an aggressive cat by any stretch of the imagination but if worse came to worse she would fight. But she knew it would be futile to battle on enemy territory. However, the she-cat took a low blow at ThunderClan and it brought a snarl upon her lips and she pulled herself out of her submissive position. No one insulted her Clan and got away with it. Even more so when they called ThunderClan stupid. Locking her eyes on the she-cats blazing green ones, Petalwhisper worked hard to keep her voice steady and her anger out of her words.
"I never meant to get this far, nor was it my intention in the first place to end up on RiverClan land." Furrowing her brow, the gray she-cat watched the other she very closely incase she decided she was going to take Petalwhisper for a row. 'How can I know you aren't going to go back to camp and gather an invasion?' A shocked expression played upon her features as she tried to register what had been said. She thought she was leading an invasion? Her look of shock turned into one of amusement and she had to work to hold in her laughter. Laughing at a time like this would be very bad timing, she decided.
"Oh yes, of course I'm going to go back and gather a patrol and invade your precious territory." Petalwhiper replied sarcastically an exasperated look in her eye. And this cat was calling ThunderClan stupid! Rolling her auburn eyes, forgetting her manners, she spat back "No, I'm not going to get an invasion ready you mouse brain." Raising her eyebrow, she paused. "Now, take me back to my territry warrior."
This time there was nothing to guess at, there was authority in her words. Dumb cat, she thought completely out of character. --- words - 315 comments - wow. sorry for the extremely late reply -.- tags - ivytail listening to - 25 to Life , Eminem[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
