Bristlepaw lead Dreampaw to the den, carrying sleeping Hailpaw. He gently layed him down near the corner, and then he got into the corner. He beckoned Dreampaw to a spot next to him.

Dreampaw let out a quiet purr as she padded over to Bristlepaw and layed down slowly into the moss bed next to him. She shifted around, trying to get comfortable, and also accidentally brushed her pelt against Bristlepaws. Quickly shifting back, wondering if he had noticed, she layed her head on her paws and slowly began to drift off into sleep, pictures of what would come soon blooming in her mind...

Bristlepaw felt her smooth fur brush against his pelt. She immidiatley backed up and fell asleep. Bristlepaw got a little closer, until their pelts touched again. He gently fell asleep too.

Dreampaw shifted in her sleep, her dream obviously bothering her... Her dream: Dreampaw padded through the forest, her location unknown...even to her. She scented to air, trying to find out where she was...and why. "Hello?" she whispered, as if that was the only noise she could let out of her throat. Suddenly, as she lifted her head and pricked her ears, she could hear the sound of rushing water. Alarm rushed through her as her paws took her in the direction of the sound. She couldn't stop herself. It was as if it wasn't her body...just her mind. As she came to the water, she saw her old home....the river! Her eyes widened with shock. why was she HERE?! She looked around, no one but her there...her, and the water....until a shadow caught her eye. In the form and shape of a cat, the shadow turned into two, and then three....no...there were four. As Dreampaw got closer to them, her eyes suddenly swelled up in tears as she noticed who they were. Midnightpaw, Shadowfang, Stormfur, and Chase. Some of the many loved one who she had lost....some of the most important. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to get them to go away. 'No...NO...they're gone..They're in my past....' she thought frantically as tears flowed from her eyes, and down her cheeks.
As she looked up fearfully, her heart feeling as if it would burst at the next sight of them, she looked in amazment at the sight before her. The four cats were gone...just like in real life, but others had taken their places. Demonfang, her mother who she had lost once before...but had found again. Hailpaw, her cousin who she met as an enemy cat on Riverclan territory....but who is now one of her best friends. Icestar...another one of her cousins, who was the leader of Shadowclan...the clan Dreampaw would join. Skylark...her aunt. One Dreampaw had not known about until very recently. And then there was Bristlepaw, the one cat outside of her family in Shadowclan who had accepted her without anger at her having been both a rogue and a Riverclanner during her life. He had made her feel welcome and special. Dreampaw could have sworn she could scent him...his comforting scent, as if it had spilled into her dream from the outside world. Dreampaw smiled...maybe she WASN'T so alone anymore...Dreampaw's muscles loosened, and she stopped shifting in her sleep. A smile came on her face...a sweet smile...a happy smile. Still sleeping soundly, she shifted once more...by accident. Her head moved a bit, towards Bristlepaw, until it was nuzzling against his neck. Dreampaw didn't move after that, her smile remained on her face as she breathed in Bristlepaws comforting scent, doing the same within her dream...the dream that was proof to her that this was where she belonged... ((i wonder what will happen when they wake up  lol)) |

Bristlepaw felt Dreampaw cme closer. He didn't mind, as long as she was happy. He fell asleep quickly.
Dream...
Bristlepaw woke up in a familiar place, with less air, no trees or wildlife, and the huge reek monsters and Twolegs. HIS TWOLEG NEST! he started to run around frabtucakky, He ran up to the open window. He saw a familiar cat in the road. DREAMPAW! A monster was heading towards her. He jumped out of the nest and landed, hurting one of his legs. But still, he ran through the pain. He quickly pushed Dreampaw away, but he froze that he may not make it in time.
Bristlepaw woke up again. He wasn't sure if Dreampaw was awake. "Is it dawn yet?" He asked silently to Dreampaw.

Hailpaw shifted slowly, and placed a paw over his head.
"Quiet, I'm trying to sleep." He muttered. He rolled over on his back, and opened his mouth, and let out a yawn.
Dream~
Hailpaw looked around. His eyes wide with terror.
"Hello? Anyone!? I don't want to be alone!!" he cried out. He looked around franticly, placing gray paws on the soft grass.
"Am I blind?! I don't want to be alone!!" He yowled through his tears. He jumped onto a rock, and slipped.
"Someone?!!" he cried out. Everything was dark, but her felt soft grass under his paws, then a smooth rock, he tripped.
He fell on his nose, and layed there, his eyes were closed with tears streaming from them. He opened then, and saw dark lines that out lined the grass. He wasn't blind, it was just dark.
A cold wind ruffled his fur, and he crouched lower.
"I don't want to be alone...." he whispered, shaking.
((Dreampaw enter the dream!!))

((ok!! ;D)) Dreampaw felt a chill go down her spine as her dreams changed once more... -back to the dream- Dreampaw looked around the new, deserted place she was now standing in. Her legs quivered with fear at the still, quiet forest that surrounded her. Why was she alone again? Where did everyone go?!
"N-no...i don't want to be alone! Come back...come, back.....please dont leave..." she cried, as her voice slowly began to decrease down into a whisper...."please...I don't want to be alo..." suddenly, as she cut off her own sentence, she heard the same exact words she was saying. They were coming from a frightened voice...a familiar voice...
Slowly, she began padding in that direction, wondering what other poor creature could be trapped in this palce. She took tiny steps, cracking a twig that she couldn't even see right infront of her because of such darkness. She scented the air, the sweet familiar scent of Hailpaw her only clue it was him.
"Hailpaw...? Hailpaw are you there?" she called out in a whisper as she took another step forward, the scent getting stronger..."Hailpaw...don't leave....." she added in a squeaky, painful voice...Dreampaw shifted in her sleep, Bristlepaw now gone an not giving her any comfort from her dreams. When would she wake up?! |

Hailpaw looked around once more, his heart beating quickly.
"Whos there?" he asked, feeling even more scared then he was now. Hailpaw looked down, as he tried to picture his paws.
"Where am I?" he whispered. He got up, and ran, but soon ran into someone. Hailpaw laid there on the ground for a few heartbeats, trying to remamber who had soft sleek fur.
'Demonfang?....no, Dreampaw!' he though, and stood up.
"Dreampaw? is that you?" Hailpaw asked, shivering.
"Where are we?" he asked.

Dreampaw was suddenly shoved to the side as Hailpaw ran into her. She let out a gasp of surprise as she hit the ground., but she quickly stood back up and looked around, trying to point out the exact place Hailpaw was in. "Hailpaw? Yes...It's me, Dreampaw..." she mewed quietly as she took a step towards his scent. "I dont know where we are. I think we're in the marsh....in a our dreams!" she added with wide, gleaming eyes. She wasn't sure HOW this was possible. "Hailpaw....I heard you...You're not alone....dont worry...I'm here..." she purred, suddenly forgetting about the darkness. she walked closer to him and layed down next to her cousin, feeling his soft plet, and knowing she had finally found him. "We dont have to be affraid anymore Hailpaw....neither of us do...we aren't alone anymore..." she wasn't sure what had come over her. She suddenly felt the urge to comfort him, just like she wanted to be comforted as well. But this was true. He had felt alone because he couldn't find his mother. Now he knew the truth, and now they had eachother....Both Dreampaw, AND Hailpaw could go on living in peace once more.

Hailpaw closed his eyes, feeling his cousin beside him.
"Am I ever alone? Not any more." he whispered.
Hailpaw opened his eyes, the dark night was fading, as it became light.
"D-Dreampaw?" he stammered, and looked at his cousin. He poked her with his paw.
"Wake up, it must be early."Hailpaw mewed.
"Wheres Bristlepaw?" he mewed.

Dreampaw nodded. "We are never alone Hailpaw." she purred as she watched him fade, out of the dream as if he were waking up. She smiled and twitched the tip of her tail to say goodbye. She didnt want to wake up yet. she gazed off into the distance as she pictured another figure. As she squinted her eyes to look closer, she saw the figure of bristlepaw. Dreampaw let out a quiet purr and nodded to herself. "Never alone..."
Dreampaw soon fluttered her eyes open, left with only memories of her dream that went from a nightmare, to a miracle. she gazed around the apprentices den, only to find both Bristlepaw and Hailpaw gone. "Oh no!" she mewed quickly as she leaped to her paws. "they must have already left for training!" and with that, she darted out of the den and headed for the marsh...
to: where bristle and hailpaw are...
