Nightcloud entered the den purring loudly. She couldn't hold her happiness in. Nightcloud glanced back hoping Firestorm was following her. She pushed two beds close together so they could catch up and talk to each other. Nightcloud couldn't help but smiling the whole time. 'I really wonder if he loves me. Maybe He has figured it out. I mean I have been kinda of obvious!' she thought. 'I'll tell him tonight!'

Firestorm padded curiously into the den, his firey pelt somewhat glowing under the moonlight that peered into the den. He glanced across the den to see Nightcloud.....beautiful Nightcloud putting two moss bed together......he couldn't help but smile at this, and he padded over to her and gave her a quick lick on the cheek.
"How are you Nightcloud?" He asked gently, somewhat suprised that he'd been able to get the words out clearly. "Its seems as if we haven't spoken in moons.....and every time we did speak there wasn't any time to say the things we......well, I wanted to say..."
He turned away for a bit, blushing slightly. Perhaps he'd made it too obvious.......the things he had wanted to say.....things like, Nightcloud I love you......
He turned back to her and layed down on one of the moss beds. He looked up at her, his eyes glittering with love for her. 'I will tell her tonight' he thought as he smiled widely..... 'I will tell her......that I love her'

Nightcloud purred even louder when Firestorm licked her cheek. She made the purring stop and lay down in the soft moss. 'Should I tell him, now?' she thought 'Or should I wait?' Nightcloud pointed with her tail, indicating that Firestorm was to lay in the other bed. "Firestorm...I have something I need to tell you."

((Haha, no problem  )) Firestorm noticed as Nightcloud pointed with her tail to the other bed. Gently he scooted himself to it and turned back to look at her as she spoke. ' I have something to I need to tell you.....' was what she'd said.....her voice sounded a bit shakey, and nervous.....his heart pounded with interest and exctiement, but he was also very nervous.....he had something to say too..... " I have something that.......that I need to tell you too Nightcloud" he mewed gently as he gazed into her beautiful eyes, a slight blush emerging on his cheeks as he spoke, but he held strong, and kept his gaze on her..... " Do you want to go first......." he asked politely, " Or should I?" |

Nightcloud's heart raced. 'What should I do? Starclan, oh, Starclan! I love him, but how do I saw it?' Nightcloud thought. She looked at Firestorm and mumbled "I'll go first.....Firestorm..I have grown closer to you or the past few moons. We are really good friends, now." Her eyes were shining with nervousness, but full of love as she continued "My heart beats and yearns for more. For a while, I pushed it aside. Now, I realized, what it says is true. So, Firestorm,.....I....I....love you!" Nightcloud leaned closer to Firestorm, her head pointed shyly away, as to ask him for his 'thing' to be told. She looked up into his eyes hoping to see the same yearning....

Firestorm listenned and watched nervously as Nightcloud told him what she needed to say.....his heart raced with nervousness and excitement at the same time....'what it says is true.....I...I...love you' was what she said. His heart stopped for a split second as he realized what she'd just told him. He'd been in love with her for the longest time and now he was realizing that she returned his love! As she looked up at him, his eyes glittered with the same need......the want to be with her. He smiled a sweet smile as he bent to give her cheek a passionate lick.
"Nightcloud" he mewed softly as he slowly pulled away, still gazing into her beautiful eyes. "I never thought I'd live to this day, but here we are.....you are returning to me one of the greatest feelings a cat could ever know.....love. I've loved you for a long, long time.....but I was always to scared to say anything....I didn't know if you felt the same way" he got a bit closer to her and nuzzled her beautiful, black pelt.
"I was going to tell you just now, but you beat me to it......." he looked into her eyes once again, and smiled...."Nightcloud I love you so much......will you be my mate?"

Nightcloud purred and smilied up at Firestorm. "Of course!" Nightcloud turned to his eyes once more; looking at each one in turn. "Oh, Firestorm! I can't believe I actually told you first!" She giggled and brushed against Firestorm's pelt. "It's amazing....When I first saw you, it was like love at first sight! I didn't even know that was real!" Nightcloud continued her purring and brushing against his pelt. "I wish this would never end..."

Firestorms heart pounded with happiness and he licked her cheek and shoulder passionately. " I never thought.....that someone as beautiful as you would ever love me" he mewed between licks. Then he sat up in front of her and gazed into her eyes..... " But there you are.....my beautiful Nightcloud.....The one I love, and you love me back, and for that I thank starclan, because I would be nothing if it wasn't for you" He bent and touched noses with her....Nightcloud, his mate! " I will be loyal to you forever Nightcloud" he purred...... " Because you are the most amazing cat I've ever met, and I love you.....I promise you Nightcloud, no other cat will EVER come between us....I love you!" ((SO CUTE!!!!  )) |

Nightcloud felt like she was in a hazy dream, but it was all real. Nightcloud felt Firestorm's warm nose touch her's and she knew she had made an excellent choice to agree with her heart. She slowly drifted of to sleep, a light sleep, but sleep none the less.

Nightcloud was in the nursery and pain was coming from all over her body. Firestorm was being ushered outside by some other queen, but smiled at her with his sweetest smile. She tried to smile back, but it was automaticly gone for the pain was back. She looked to Shadowsong, who was giving her herbs that she said 'would make it easier'. Nightcloud remained in this part of her dream for what seemed a life time and finally three beautiful kits were sat beside her. Two orange and one black. "thank you, Shadowsong..."

Firestorm tooked down at Nightcloud and smiled as the beautiful dark she-cat fell into a beutiful sleep before his very eyes. He curled his body around hers and rested his head above hers, and purred gently. He knew he'd made the right decision asking her to be his mate, and he smiled gently as he lay with her, protecting her. "Nightcloud" he purred to her knowing that she was asleep.... "I will be with you, always"

Nightcloud jolted awake, but remained still to not frighten Firestorm. "Firestorm' she whispered 'I had a dream....That I had three kits. One looked like me and the other two like you! I wonder if it will ever come true." She smiled and glacned up at him. "I wish it would..."

Firestorm listenned to his mate, as she told him about the dream, and the three kits. He knew right away that he wanted kits, and he smiled gently as she told him she wished they would have kits. He nodded gently and licked her forehead gently. "I wish it would too Nightcloud" he mewed as he wrapped himself around her......getting a little closer......
"Having kits with you would be something that I know would bring joy to me forever" he bent and nuzzled her dark pelt happily.....Nightcloud, his mate......One day, they would have kits

Nightcloud smiled until her mouth hurt. She leaned against Firestorm, gently licking his bright orange ears. "I'm so happy right now; it's hard to find what words to say!" Nightcloud whispered. She gazed out the den enterence. 'Such a beautiful night....' she thought. Nightcloud brushed her jet black cheek on Firestorm's and lay her head oon his front paws.

"It is indeed, Nightcloud" he whispered as he gazed into the night. Gently he sat up and shook some moss from his glowing, orange pelt. His heart was still beating super fast from telling her his secret.....that he loved her..... and asking her to be his mate. He got to his paws and stretched a bit, his muscles were a little stiff from lying in that position for a while.....he stretched them out a bit. As he finished his stretch he turned to her with a smile and gave her a lick on the shoulder.
"Would you like to go for a walk in the marsh?" he asked, his eyes glittering with wonder at what the night held in store for them. His paws itched to run out of the den and towards the marsh, to walk side-by-side with his mate, Nightcloud.....to feel her warm breath near him, and to twinlde his tail with hers. The two of them were as different as night and day, color wise, but the love they had for eachother brought them together none the less.....
He gazed at her gently as he waited for the answer.......did she want to go with him? He hoped so, because he desperately needed to get out.....to go on a walk, and express his feelings for real.......

"I would love to go." Nightcloud murmured to Firestorm. Her bright yellow eyes twinkled with delight. She thought she knew what was going on, but maybe Firestorm had differemt ideas....
"We better go before it gets too dark!" Nightcloud said turning once again to the night sky. She stood like Firestom had and shook her pelt to make sure every last piece of moss was out of her fur. Nightcloud walked over to him and leaned on his shoulder, her head tilted to rest it gently. "Come on" she said making one small step toward the enterence.
