Firefur looked up at the moon. 'Looks like there will be a gathering soon,' she thought. 'I might be aloud to got this time'. She cleared a log, now rotted, with a single leap; landing lightly on her ginger paws. She then saw a decent sized tree and climbed it, using her claws to propel herself up wards. She then padded and jumped among the branches until her head reached the top-most limb. It was thick enough that she could lie down comfortably, and gaze at Silverpelt stretched above her.
She let out a loud sigh. "I miss you Brook," she mewed aloud. Then added silently to herself, 'Where Small Fish Swim..'. She had lived a bit with the Tribe of Running Water, but it didn't exactly suit her. So she came here, and found it fit just right. After all, this is where her parents were born. She then pushed aside the memories of her old life and thought about more important things. Which would include patrols, hunts, battles......
'I wonder when I and Hopepaw's ceremony will be held..' she thought curiously. Her thoughts then switched to her closest friends: Icewhisker, Nightcloud, Mapleclaw, and Ebonyheart. The four she-cats were the first friends she got in the Clan starting with the white furred Icewhisker.
At the moment they departed from their first walk in the marsh, Firefur knew that if the time came, she would protect them with her all her honor, 'even,' she thought; with her life. 'Thats if they didn't already kick their butt...' she thought, amused; stretching out her legs and yawning with Silverpelt twinkling abover her; as if in response.

Ebonyheart scaled the tree up to Furefur's side, breathless.
"Hey!" she meowed. Ebonyheart glanced up to Silverpelt, where Firefur's gaze rested, and asked, "What's up?" The beautiful sky caught her attention, and Ebonyheart completely understood her friend's gazing at it. Twitching her tail to tap her friend, she meowed loudly, "Hello?"

"Hi," mewed Firefur, happy to see her black pelted friend. She noticed Ebonyheart looking at her oddly. "You must be wondering why I'm up here", she mewed with a small laugh. "Honestly, I just needed to think!" She purred. "What brings you out here?" she asked.

"You," Ebonyheart purred in laughter. "I scented you, and since we haven't spoken in a while, I thought I'd come see you." Ebonyheart looked down to the ground. "We're really high up," she mewed when she realized it. Nervous, she sunk her claws into the ground and nestled into the small flat area where the branch and trunk met. "It's so comfortable here, I just could sleep here and stare at Silverpelt for forever. Or, at least until I get hungry." Ebonyheart glanced to her friend, smiling at her orange-striped friend. Blinking her emerald eyes, Ebonyheart tried to avoid looking down.

"As a matter of fact, we are!" mewed Firefur looking down as Ebonyheart sunk her claws into the branch. 'Since I used to live in the mountains, I guess I can say that I'm kind of used to it". She stretched. (wow i just looked outside and the sky is yellow!) "I wonder-" she was cut off by a soft mew from below. "Firefur?" Firefur jumped up and peered down into a cat she knew all too well....

Ebonyheart glanced down, but suddenly had to look back up as her stomach lurched. Closing her eyes, Ebonyheart decided to wait until the cat below revealed itself. Happy place... Happy place! Ebonyheart pleaded with her mind, begging it to picture something happy. She was brought back to the time when- No! She pushed away that thought as a tear leaked out of her eye (can cats cry? Oh well), refusing to relive the bittersweet memory. I'll just have to sit tight Ebonyheart thought.

Firefur's happiness increased as her brother clawed up the tree. "Hawkeye!" (whos bio is being made) she mewed down to him. "You followed me?"
"I couldn't let my little sister go looking for the Clans without me!" his deep vioce answered equaling her joy. He finally reached the top and sat beside Ebonyheart, ten times bigger than her. He was a begal cat like their father with powerful muscles and blue eyes. 'He hasn't changed a bit', she thought. He looked at Ebonyheart, "Hello," he mewed, his voice a rumble.
"That's Ebonyheart," mewed Firefur. "She is a warrior too. We are both member's of ShadowClan". Hawkeye looked at her quizically. "Like a cave guard," she explained quickly. she then asked, why have you come?"
"To join you," he meowed. "I have come to join your Clan". Firefur brightened. "but I also com with news also".

Ebonyheart cracked an eye. "Hawkeye?" She asked, testing the name on her tongue. The large handsome tom caught her eye, and she scooted over in an attempt to make room, doing her best to be cautious, but not look afraid. Forcing herself to sit up straight, she looked the tom in he eye. "So, Firefur's brother? Good thing you are here now, because she can't even stay out of trouble!" Ebonyheart meowed teasingly. Keeping her gaze level with her body, and not down, she was able to overcome her fear, and was now emarrassed that she'd even been afraid. Glancing back and forth between the two siblings, she waited for someone to speak.

Hawkeye rumbled a purred as Firefur craned her neck to lick her brother in between the ears. He continued. "I plan on keeping low for a bit, until I get accepted". Firefur noticed him sending a sideways glance at Ebonyheart with deep interest, his tail flicking.....Firefur shook herself. Does he.....?
"I also came to tell you that mom, dad, and Stonepelt died. Deathcough had raged through the Tribe...." he bowed his head after finally ripping his eyes off of Ebonyheart. Firefur did the same, staring at the branch beneath her feet sadly.
"But atleast you came," Firefur mewed loking up into her brother blue eyes. "Hawkeye I am so glad to see you!"
"Likewise...." he purred, looking at Ebonyheart, once again.

Ebonyheart glanced away. It was hard to give two cats privacy when you were stuck up in a tree with them, but she felt guilty for intruding on this painful moment. Holding Haweye's gaze again until he looked away, she closed her eyes, having known the pain of losing a family member herself. Ebonyheart's imagination flew to another, happier scene, but then she cast the thought away. It would probably never happen, and she shouldn't be thinking about so happy a thought at this time. "I'll leave you , but don't worry. I'll come back later when you've had time alone." Ebonyheart padded away.
GOtta go (Vacation now) see ya later now. Hope you get accepted.
