Earthpaw padded through the marsh, enjoying the scents that filled his nostrils.'Maybe I'll meet up with someone,' he thought happily, his paws sinking into the moist soil. 'Maybe other apprentices!' he thought again, even happier. He cleared a fallen login a single leap, the sun warming his dark pelt.

Frostblade lifted her head. All she needed was to be away from camp. Blazingstar's death, Hawkpaw being hit by a monster. It was all too much right now. The warrior didn't mind a bit of mud staining her fur. After all, it was common here. Frostblade thingyed her head, hearing the faint footfalls of Earthpaw.

Earthpaw paused. "Frostblade?" he said quietly to himself. He turned to see the she-cat herself behind her.

Ebonyheart glimpsed through the grass an apprentice and warrior. As she came closer, she recognized Earthpaw and Frostblade. Coming up to them, she sat and curled her tail around herself. "Hello, what are you to doing?"

"Nothing really," replied Earthpaw. "I just ran into Frostblade a second ago". He recognized Ebonyheart, the black she-cat that Hawkeye loved. "What brings you out here?" he said quite rudely.

Ebonyheart did her best to remain calm. "I'm just hunting and looking for a friend." Ebonyheart closed her eyes and counted to ten (Can cat's do that? Oh well). She hoped the apprentice would be more friendly before Ebonyheart got angry. "I'm going back to camp. Maybe I'll see you two around."

Frostblade sighed. "Have you heard about Hawkpaw?" she mewed, speaking of the first topic that came to mind. She didn't mean to talk about it, but the warrior might feel better afterwards.

Sunheart walked around in the bushes , she spoted Frostblade and Earthpaw. She looked around it seemed they were the onyl ones in the world. She walked up to the cats, " Hello" mewed Sunheart as she sat down staring at them wondering what they were talking about, it looked as if Earthpaw didn't like the company.

Sunheart looked around it was quiet, very quiet.She smelt the air, but there was nothing to smell, besides the cats next to her. she got up and looked around, but she saw nothing, no scent, no noise and nothing lurking around, WEIRD she thought to herself and sat back down.

Frostblade closed her eyes and sighed. Her ears perked as a crow's caw echoed from the other end of the marsh. The warrior sighed again. She stood and mewed, "I'll see you two later." The she-cat headed back towards camp.

Sunheart got up and headed in the oposite direction " ok" she meowed, sh epadded out of the little holow to go hunt leaving Earthpaw alone. Sunheart walked about searching for the cuase of the silence.

Earthpaw just sat there as the she-cats just left. He shrugged it off and went inot the bushes, searching for someone else to speak to.
