Icestorm padded into the marsh, until she was not far from the Thunderpath, which they would have to cross to get to the gathering. Slowly sitting down, she waited for her clan to arive behind her, so she could continue on, to Fourtrees.
((please hurry everyone....we mustn't be the last one's there again!))

Tawnyclaw padded up behind Icestorm and smiled at her. She knew that her leader.....her friend was going to be getting her nine lives after the gathering. "Are you ready?" she asked giving Icestorm a quick, comforting lick on the ear. She knew Icestorm was ready....she'd been ready, but she wanted to hear it from her.......

Icestorm smiled to see her new deputy there with her. "Yes, I think I'm ready Tawnyclaw." she purred as she returned the she-cats lick on the ear. "I have to be, anyway, for the clan." she added, as she looked away and glanced far into Shadowclan territory....her, territory...

"I believe you're ready as well" mewed Tawnyclaw in a soft voice. "You've always been ready, since the day you were made deputy....Thats why You were probably made deputy in the first place, You were ready while others weren't....." she then cut off, and looked into the territory as Icestorm was. She realized then what she'd said....She was chosen because she was ready.... was all she could think..... Am I ready?

Icestorm looked at Tawnyclaw out of the corner of her eye. "Maybe, then, that's why i chose you to be my deputy." she purred, as she looked forward again, into the deepness of the marsh. She was glad to have chosen Tawnyclaw to be her deputy. She was a strong and trustworth young cat. Nodding to herself, she added in her thoughts, 'Yes, Tawnyclaw was a great choice....i can feel it!'

Tawnyclaw felt pride surging in her veins as she stood proud and strong by her leaders side. A gentle breeze blew in their direction as they gazed into the territory that the two of them would watch over....together. Then she knew. Her leader...Icestorm...Had chosen her,Tawnyclaw, because she too was ready for the challenge, she was ready to take on whatever starclan threw at her and the rest of the clan. "Thank-you Icestorm" she mewed still gazing into the darkness of Shadowclan..... "Thank-you for giving me the chance to show you....I'm ready....."

ShadowSong came up panting beside the two cats, bowing her head in respect. Tawnyclaw... the deputy to take Icestorm's place... and Icestorm... soon to be renamed Icestar. She grinned.
"I'm here as well," she purred to allow them to acknowledge her presence. "Icestorm... are you plannning to travel to Highstones after this?" she questioned her future leader, flicking her tail as she waited a response, and apon realizing the coming of a fourth cat. She turned her head around and mewed a brief greeting to a running Silvertail, skidding to a halt beside her friend, Icestorm and licking her in greeting on the cheek, followed by a declination of the head.
"Future leader of Shadowclan," she mewed teasingly before pawing her friend. "Congrats." She glanced over to ShadowSong to recieve a frightful glare and quickly coughed, silently seating herself to await the arrival of others. "Sorry...." she murmered quietly. The meddie glanced to Icestorm, requesting the reply.

Icestorm smiled as the two other cats appeard next to her. She couldn't help but let out a quiet purr, when Silvertail approached her. "I hope I'm ready," she mewed to her friend. The one she'd known ever since she was a kit. The one who she hoped would also help her with her leadership. then, she looked over at Shadowsong and gently nodded. "Yes, I'm planning on going to Highstones afterwards, and Tawnyclaw is going to lead everyone home." she purred as she flicked her tail towards the new deputy, gently hitting her in the shoulder with it. "I'm sure you are going to join me Shadowsong?" she asked softly. She knew that medicine cats traveled to Highstones as well, to recieve dreams from Starclan, so they could see what was in store for their clan.
Then, the new leader stood to her paws. "Well, I'm sure the rest of the cats know their way to Fourtrees. I think it's best that we get there now. We don't want to be the last ones there again." she laughed as she turned and padded away, flicking with her tail for the others to follow.

Rushheart, followed by the limping Frostwind, came in view behind their Clan mates. Frostwind sat down, seeing that they weren't moving without the rest of the Clan, while Rushheart trotted towards Icestorm/star. "Icestorm, why are we stopping?"[/color] He asked impatiently, wanting badly to get to the Gathering. He needed to see Darkpaw!

Tawnyclaw turned to Rushheart and saw the impatience on his face, then she turned to see Icestorm stalking in the direction of Fourtrees. "We're not Stopping Rushheart" she mewed smoothly as she started after Icestorm.... "Come on now, lets go...." then she turned and darted after Icestorm...

Purplestripe ran to catch up with the group for she didn't hear her name and didn't want to be left alone.
(Sorry i didn't see this yet since i came back from my trip just monday and didn't have enough time to catch up with everything.)
